I am a professional singer-songwriter, living in Nashville, TN, with a degree in Music Business from MTSU. I have been a touring artist for 10 years and have a passion for not only the craft of singing and songwriting, but for finding the uniqueness in others and helping them shine! In addition to writing and performing, I am currently the Youth Music Director for a church in Nashville, TN, and lead worship. I teach students of all ages, with a wide range of experience levels from total beginner, to professionals needing studio prep, tour vocal support and maintenance coaching. 

Students can expect to learn approachable, applicable techniques for healthy singing, developing and strengthening their voice, in a fun, down to earth setting.  I believe no matter what level you're starting from, you can learn the tools to gain the confidence to accomplish your singing goals, with your given talents. Each lesson will be tailored to each students level, addressing both the actual skills involved with singing, as well as getting comfortable expressing themselves and working past what might be holding them back from finding their personal voice. 

As a songwriter, I can also offer one on one mentorship and lessons geared toward honing your craft, and working on your original music. 

Whether it's singing for the very first time, getting to a place where you can impress your friends at karaoke, or strengthening your personal singing style in a healthy, sustainable way, I am excited to join you on your journey!

I bring a unique background having worked in the music industry on both the business and creative side, as well as years of experience in Ministry, I have had the blessing of working with people with all types of dreams, goals, and challenges. I currently run my own creative business, teach, write, and continue in ministry, and have a passion for sharing my hard learned tricks in finding purpose. I believe everyone is equipped with all they need to succeed and live their best life given the right encouragement and motivation. I will help you gain clarity, work past mental and emotional blocks, Identify goals, get organized and stay on track to accomplish your goals. Just had my first lesson with Moriah! It was such an amazing experience. I  love how she took the time to get to know me, my goals and discuss an action plan of what lessons will look like. I am looking forward to learning and growing in my vocal abilities as well as tapping back into my creative writing process.

Moriah has been a great vocal instructor! I was very nervous to start singing, and she was just the person I needed to coax me out of my shell. She is extremely welcoming and attentive. She is very knowledgeable about vocals and all things music. She provides excellent explanations and recaps at the end of each lesson. I can tell she genuinely loves sharing her passion for music with others, and I can't recommend her highly enough!

So far so good! I’ve only had one lesson, but I was impressed with Moriah’s knowledge and teaching style, plus it seemed like she was really engaged in building a good foundation! Looking forward to next week!

Thanks Moriah . I have been writing contemporary christian, gospel and kids  songs for five years, I needed some help improving my lyric writing and song structure getting my songs from good songs to great songs in today's styles.   I hate to say this because she has been so patient and so good I fear she  might get over booked now. I think she deserves the compliment . I have worked with many others and so far I think she is the best. She has helped me take one of my song  to the next level I am hopeful to get pitched to a ccm artist.  I plan on staying with her. I think she really knows her stuff.

Moriah is an amazing vocal instructor! She is so kind and focused on making sure you progress, whatever level you're at. She has given me wonderful tips and really helped me improve my technique. She really knows her stuff!

Moriah is so great to work with and an excellent teacher/ vocal coach.  My technique, tone, and control have improved a lot in a short amount of time.  Also if you want to learn harmony she's the best you're gonna find.  5 stars bc they don't have 6 for an option.
