FUN!!! Learning guitar should be fun! I teach electric and acoustic guitar in a fun way. The exercises that I have you do are not boring, they are actual songs that you get better and better at playing.
I mix up the lessons and your practice with a combination of scales that can turn into instant leads, cords and the combination of cords that make up a family called a "key". I teach a variety of strum and picking patterns and styles, from folk to reggae to rock. The latest thing in playing melodies is tablature, I teach that, but I also believe that you need to be able to play regular notes as well. Best of all, you do not have to be a great lead guitarist to be a star, and if you want to sing while you play I can definitely teach you that!

About Daniel

Music lessons should be fun and focus on what you want! I am willing to travel to you or welcome you to my studios: Reseda pr Canoga Park. I travel to homes San Diego and Los Angeles Counties. What is your goal? School or Church choir? Musical programs?Learn to Cantor or lead songs at Church/

Mr. G goes over and above to help me pursue my interests. He helped me sing through a difficult time while my voice was changing. He supports me at performances and never fails to make me laugh. Working with him has been a fantastic experience and I feel that I have grown so much.

I got in touch with Daniel so I could get back in singing shape as an adult who had lapsed - a lot! He's friendly, kind, and patient, with a clear way of explaining technique that's really helped me get it. I've improved noticeably in a short amount of time!

About Gabriel

Most beginners I’ve encountered have no idea what they want to play or even why. my suggestion is before coming to your teacher pinpoint the what and the why. Why did you want to learn guitar? Was it a song, or a really cool sounding riff? Did you see someone play live and feel like “I could do th

Learn your favorite songs and riffs! Soloing, rhythm guitar, fingerpicking, and more. The foundation of music lessons is good ears and good time feel (groove). These are skills that all the best musicians have. That, along with some study of guitar basics will cover about half of our lesson time. The other half should be devoted to the kind of music that inspired you to look me up. My hope is that you will become a well rounded musician and guitar player, and that we'll both discover new music :-)

I also enjoy preparing for jam sessions, auditions, and competing for placement in school ensembles and for scholarships.

About Jordan

1. All my students feel like rock stars! Each lesson is fun and enriching. 2. I provide a clear lesson plan complete with goals, achievement levels, and performances. *Experienced teacher and professional musician. *Has performed with: The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Great Good Fine Ok, 10,000

"Stan always encourages his students to find their own style. He has a vast portfolio of “tools in his toolbox” that he can use. Approach him with a new idea and he will immediately tap into his wealth of education, experience and provide you with his insight. The possibilities of music are endless, but Stan’s knowledge of music theory, among many other things, is a tremendous benefit for a student trying to unlock their potential."

"Scott taught my daughter for maybe 6 or 7 years in our home. He always had an approach that included her voice in what and how she wanted to learn. I believe it was Scott's patience and kindness that helped her to stick with guitar for so long. She not only became an excellent guitarist, she was able to apply much of her learning to broader music theory and picked up other instruments including the drums. Scott feels like a family member now and we are all so grateful we found him!"
