Successfully teaching current students with clear, concise lessons.
All of my current students have developed confidence and enthusiasm to learn all materials presented in an easy to comprehend format.
Each student learns at different levels so all lessons are customized to challenge them but also insure they learn and retain all materials presented to them.
Currently have 16 students ranging from beginners to advanced level.
When selecting a teacher, make arrangements to meet in person to review short and long term goals of learning a musical instrument. Pricing should only be used as the last criteria before making a final decision. It's important to insure your instructor is patient and willing to challenge students to setup a practice routine that will fit their current schedule.
If a student needs an instrument, have instructor give recommendations based on the musical styles they are interested in learning.
Students often ask how long it will take to learn to play a Guitar.

The acoustic guitar is one of humanity's greatest inventions! Light and portable, the acoustic guitar brings fun and beauty to any situation and environment, from campfires to parks and parties of all kinds! Learning to bring this musical joy to yourself and others is an extremely worthwhile pursuit; i have found that in my travels around the world, all i ever had to do was pull out an acoustic guitar, and wherever i happened to be, people would always come up and hang out around me, and engage with me in very friendly ways - even if we didn't speak the same language! All because of the universal language of beautiful music....

Highly recommend him and his style"

A few months ago, I decided it was time to learn more and sharpen my skills... starting with the basics (including reading guitar music). I decided to check out TakeLessons because I knew I could have the lessons in the comfort of my own home. So, I began researching and found Tim's profile.
If you are looking for a solid foundation in learning the guitar and feeling encouraged to push through (even if you think you can't play that one chord) I'd highly recommend Tim. Tim provides students with a guitar manual that is easy to understand and helps build one skill at a time. Like building a brick wall, the book has you put one brick on top of the other as you go through the book. In time, you will be surprised how much you've learned!
Beginners, Intermediate/Advance players if you're looking for a guitar teacher that will help you sharpen your skills and encourage you along the way... I'd highly recommend him as a guitar teacher!"
