Hello fellow singers! My goal is to help you refine your own unique instrument and help you to express a story and art through the voice!
I grew up taking piano lessons and singing in my church and school choir. I always had a love for all classical music and soon enough fell in love with opera! I begin taking classical voice lessons at the age of 15 and soon realized that my heart and soul belonged to opera and had to continue my studies a lot more in depth.

Throughout the years spent at UCLA, I not only continued to sing with choral groups, but also performed in every opera. I sang one of the principles roles in Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges, and sang one of the principles roles in many opera scenes such as Dorabella from Così fan tutte, Mercedes in Carmen, Second Lady in The Magic Flute, Nerone in L'incorazione di Poppea.
Since I graduated college I have collaborated with ...

Hey Guys!
I am classically trained singer with 12 years under my belt. I have performed all over the world. Here is a small list of places I can remember off the top of my head.
California - Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall,
New York - Disney Hall, The Dorothy Chandler,
London - Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall,
China - The Great Wall, The Forbidden City
I realize there are a lot of different teachers on this website, but I am set apart by my teaching style. As a voice student all my life, I was always so annoyed about having to spend months to get results from teachers who drew out my progress to get more money. I don't play that way. I am very specific and can pretty much hear the problems from first listen. Here is how I teach. First diagnose the problem. Second I need to make sure you can hear the problem so that you can self regulate. The worst thing is only being able to sound good around your teacher, and having a hard time when they aren't around. Lastly we fix the ...

Basically, Josh is a wonderful teacher with a wealth of technical skill and talent in addition to a great deal of compassion and patience making him everything a person could really ask for in a teacher. I recommend him whole heartedly!"
