I have been helping and preparing musicians for performance for close to ten years. I have worked with pop singers, dancers, rock musicians, and musical theater actors. I like to film or voice record performers so that the student walks away with something to work with. I help with stage presence, announcing, diction, dynamics, blocking, and overall polishing.

I have been singing for as long as I can remember, and playing piano since I was six years old and first began lessons. I played flute throughout middle school and high school, and picked up guitar and ukulele after high school. I mostly play pop music, but I also have experience in classical, theater, jazz, and other genres. As a teacher, it's important to me that students enjoy what they're doing and not only develop a strong foundation of theory but also a love for music. I think there is value in everything musical and I cater my lessons to my students' interests and goals.

Your performance is just that. YOUR performance. Without question, the best way to ramp up your performance level is to make it your own. But how? That's something we'll work on at length. Are there gimmicks and showy things one can do to add to it? Certainly. But you can overdo it and ruin your show. We'll discuss that, too. We'll look at why introverts can be more natural performers and how to use your innate personality traits to your advantage.
