I do have cats at my home studio- be aware if you are concerned with allergies!

My first priority is making the student feel comfortable, we will move only as fast as the student wants to move.

We will start by setting some goals- what the student is hoping to get out of voice lessons. I will keep your goals in mind when teaching.

Learning how to sing can be a slow process. Expect 3-6 months of studying to notice large improvements-however, the more consistently you practice, the more consistent your progress.

Students will be asked to find or purchase their own music (average of $10-$30).

About Danny
I've played drums about 30 years and taught lessons about 20 of those years. Each student is different and I've evolved my lessons to accommodate teaching each student. My background consists of all styles of Drumset, marching band, rock bands, soloing and Troopers drum corps. Also playing in jazz, concert and orchestra bands gave me opportunity to perform and compete many places including P.A.S., scoring a 1 @ state and G.C. drum off. I took private lessons for a few years before leaving to college in Hollywood, CA, attending M.I.(Musicians Institute) with one of my instructors becoming the current drummer for Korn, "Ray Luzier". I now teach mostly out of my own books on how to read music, coordination, grooves, soloing and playing with bands. If you are not local, I offer online lessons too. I have 1-2 recitals each year and make it pos
sible for online students to participate. Accepting beginner to advanced drummers, come check it out.

About Brandon
I am a professional Saxophone, Clarinet, and Flute player. I have been composing my own music for video games and short films, and working as a mixing engineer for a couple years now, just really exploring many different aspects of music. I have a degree from Utah Valley University in Commercial Music, and spent most of that degree on the performance aspect of music.

My Saxophone students can expect some of the fun and some of the practical. We will be working on articulation, tone production, intonation, breathing, different forms of vibrato and many other aspects of control over the saxophone while learning songs that you as the student want to learn.

I have been taking piano lessons for 15 years, and turning around and teaching the techniques and abilities to my students have been really fun! We work on the fundamentals, but we
focus on learning cool songs and do things that few other instruments can do.

I have a lot of fun with music theory. I try to be practical in what students need to know, but can teach much more. I have a jazz background and can teach jazz theory, including comping and improvisation.

Brandon is fantastic. I don't know that he's ever given me a word of bad advice, and has been a HUGE help in getting my career as a producer and narrator off the ground. He's incredibly knowledgeable and skillful, and my experiences in both hiring him and learning from him have been absolutely fantastic. I would heartily recommend him!

About Abby
My name is Abby Hay and I have been singing since I could talk! I am a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. I was trained classically in my early teens and became more polished in contemporary and musical theatre styles throughout high school and college. I have performed in various choirs and small groups throughout the community, but my happy place is singing and creating music with my guitar at my fingertips.

My goal for each of my students is to help them to gain confidence in themselves and their talents through improving the skills that are uniquely theirs. Every voice and every student is extremely unique and it is my quest to help each student become the singer they want to become. Each student will learn to connect with their voice in a way that will help them feel empowered. I believe music has the ability to heal and enhance
any life. My hope is to share the gift of music with my students and the people in their lives.

About Kaitlin
Hi! My name is Kaitie Chan and I am so excited to hopefully work with you!
I have been playing the piano since I was five years old and have been singing for just as long, and have been helping to teach beginner students for the past year.
I have two main focuses in teaching - one, learning correct technique and skills that will help you to continue playing piano for the rest of your life, and two, learning songs and pieces that interest you!
Once we learn some basic piano pieces, we can branch out to many other skills, including learning how to sing and play the piano at the same time, learning how to write songs, learning how to create mashups, learning jazz piano skills, and many more. I have a highly diversified skill set and would love to help you learn what you want to learn!

Larissa is a fantastic vocal instructor! I’ve been singing with her for a few years now and she has always been able to coach me on the best ways to increase my range, tonality, and quality as a singer. She really knows her stuff! She is also very encouraging and kind as well so you always feel comfortable singing around her and you always want to do your best. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their vocal technique.

I loved working with Larisa!! She really catered each lesson to my own vocal needs that day (our voices aren't the same every day). I've always struggled with tension in my throat and she worked hard to find techniques that made sense and that actually worked for me (I still use them)! I appreciated the extra mile she went to help me with that. When she teaches can tell she's very relaxed and very passionate about singing. She really knows her stuff! I never felt intimidated or like I was doing a bad job she just helped me find my voice and it was a wonderful experience!

A consummate professional she brought both me and my sister from the pit of ignorant cacophony to the sunny glade of bardic tonality. She worked with us, each getting specific exercises, to enhance breath control, tone, pitch control, and power. She was willing to work in many different genres so we would sing what we loved. Helping us find our passion for the craft. I highly recommend her as a teacher!
