My first priority is making the student feel comfortable, we will move only as fast as the student wants to move.

We will start by setting some goals- what the student is hoping to get out of voice lessons. I will keep your goals in mind when teaching.

Learning how to sing can be a slow process. Expect 3-6 months of studying to notice large improvements-however, the more consistently you practice, the more consistent your progress.

Students will be asked to find or purchase their own music (average of $10-$30).

About Ryan
As a guitar teacher, my goal is to help students be able to grow their passion for music and attain the skills needed to express themselves musically.

There are so many methods of learning to play the guitar that it can be overwhelming knowing where to start.

I have been playing guitar for over 15 years and have studied with many amazing music teachers which have helped shape my methods of teaching.

Lessons are designed to help students not only learn to play the songs they love, but learn how those songs were built and how they can pull the songs apart and create something of their own.

A few of the skills student will learn include:
- Proper technique
- Chords, how they are built
- Scales and how to use them
- Ear training
- Sight reading/guitar tablature
- Fingerpicking
- Rhythmic notation
- Strum patterns
- Pickin
g techniques
- Intervals
- Triads and their inversions
- Arpeggios

I teach students of all age and experience levels!

About Abby
My name is Abby Hay and I have been singing since I could talk! I am a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. I was trained classically in my early teens and became more polished in contemporary and musical theatre styles throughout high school and college. I have performed in various choirs and small groups throughout the community, but my happy place is singing and creating music with my guitar at my fingertips.

My goal for each of my students is to help them to gain confidence in themselves and their talents through improving the skills that are uniquely theirs. Every voice and every student is extremely unique and it is my quest to help each student become the singer they want to become. Each student will learn to connect with their voice in a way that will help them feel empowered. I believe music has the ability to heal and enhance
any life. My hope is to share the gift of music with my students and the people in their lives.

About Marj
While sharing a stage with Tim McGraw, being trained with Gladys Knight, performed for the CEO of Apple, producing countless sold out live shows myself, and opened for the NBA season Utah Jazz home Game by performing the National Anthem January 12, 2019, and featuring in Angels of the Greatest Showman Live for the Hollywood on Broadway Company in SLC, February 7-8, with six members of the original cast of the movie is so much fun, teaching my vocal technics to others is absolutely my favorite.

Seeing my voice students progress, being confident on a stage, and watching them winning awards or get call backs after big auditions make me feel so accomplished. I have a passion to share the gift of singing to others.

I was born and raise in Haiti in very humble conditions. I wasn't privileged to take voice music or dance lessons at a
young age, so now I get excited to teach it. What I had as a young girl was the talent, and a wonderful church group who lived for music just like me. I was very excited when I started to get training to become a better singer myself, and to train others.

I am looking forward to become your new friend, and best vocal coach you have had in your life. See you in our studio or online.

Love always

Marj is a true professional. Not only does she have the proper background and training to be a vocal coach, she has incredible on-stage experience to make her the incredible performer and vocal coach she is to her students. Singing can be so vulnerable and frightening but with Marj’s approachability and dynamite personality, she has helped me conquer some singing fears to ultimately conquer the stage of performing.

About Mikayla
I started my formal music education at just three years old. That early education was invaluable in training my musical ear, and I now have excellent pitch. I started my extensive training in vocal performance at the age of 8, and have been trained in classical, opera, and musical theater in both legit and belt/mix. I have performed in over 30 musical theater productions and two operatic productions. Some of my favorite credits include La Carlotta (Phantom of the Opera), Eliza (My Fair Lady), Mrs. Potts and The Wardrobe (Beauty and the Beast), The Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute), and Fiordiligi (Cosi Fan Tutte).

As a youth, I performed with the Utah Children’s Choir and Pleasant Grove Jr. High’s choir. I then went on to perform with the award-winning Pleasant Grove Chamber Choir while in High School, and the BYU Women’s Chorus in c
ollege. I competed in NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) from 2008-2014 and placed each year in both Classical and Musical Theater Legit. In 2013, I competed in the Classical Singer Competition in Boston and placed in the top 10 in the nation. In 2011, I was asked to perform in the Tour of American Young Artists to China. I performed in Beijing, as well as several outlying Chinese cities.

As well as singing, Mikayla is an accomplished flutist, and enjoys playing the piano. She is very artistic and loves to draw, sew and craft during her free time. She played Volleyball in high school, was on the swim team, and loves horseback riding.

I have an outgoing personality, and am excellent at helping others feel comfortable. It is my goal to not only help you learn to sing, but also to feel comfortable singing and performing. I absolutely love singing and performing myself, and I am excited to help you reach your musical potential!
