I am a professional Guitarist, Bassist, Pianist and Music Instructor based out of Haddonfield, NJ. I have taught hundreds of students between ages 4 and 70 from beginner to advanced in all musical styles. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2007, and was trained by top-tier musicians in Jazz, Classical, Blues, Rock, RnB, Pop and even Broadway.
My teaching style is to first identify what music motivates students, and then to carve out a path for them in fundamental practice towards achieving their goals, while preparing them for performance-level playing. Along that path, other musical styles, famous musicians and examples of mastery are introduced to broaden student’s understanding of what is achievable and to motivate them towards a higher level on their instrument.

Acoustic Guitar:
Acoustic guitar is such a great instrument for so many reasons. With my method, not only will the student learn the songs and styles they love, but they will become musicians while doing it.
So many guitarists feel limited, because they never learned the basics of notes, chords, technique, and theory. I will unlock the fingerboard and make learning music fun! Student will bring in songs they like to learn.

I prefer taking the 1 hour lessons each week, since it provides enough time to think about the material being taught and to ask meaningful questions. I believe Jimmy's objective is to get the student to think about music critically, not just to memorize information.
I fully enjoy the lessons and think they are worth the effort and time!"

He has the patience, and demeanor that is perfect for teaching. No easy task. I've seen other students of all ages here as well.
