Teaching Guitar in Morrisville

Pete A.

By Peter A.-Morrisville Guitar Teacher

Music is not only a passion; it's a way of life. Serious musicians are in a constant pursuit to learn how to play better and improve their musicianship, which is why private instruction is incredibly important for a growing guitarist. When I attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, I had some incredible opportunities to study with some amazing people. I studied with Tomo Fujita (former students John Mayer and Eric Krasno), and also with legendary jazz guitarist Pat Metheny. The tricks and techniques that I learned at Berklee are invaluable to say the least. I feel extremely lucky that I'm able to pass on this same information to my own private guitar students. I've had a really unique educational experience and my main focus is to take a colossal amount of information and extract key essentials that are going to advance my students learning in the most efficient ways possible. I take pride in being a guitar teacher unlike any other, and I love making students say "Ah! That's what I was looking for!” There has always been a cloud of mystery around mastering the guitar and being able to play anything you can hear. With my students, I immediately attack the hazy mess and get straight to the point: learning how to sound like the guitar players that you love, and the best way to get you there.
