Activate your energy body through rehearsing all the various pelvic motions of the mysterious art of belly dancing. There are four courses and each course is broken down into 6 sessions that each last 15 minutes (5 minutes of stretching + 10 minutes of learning). The courses are as follows:

(Laban/Bartinieff, Yoga, Limon, Horton, etc), strengthening and stretching exercises as well effective ways to use the body in modern movement including floorwork, gesture phrases and combinations. Lesson plans will focus on engaging movement activities and warm-up, as well as challenging movement combination to accomplish the needs and goals of the students My teaching style emphasizes the use of repetition, imagery, demonstrations, and the understanding of anatomy.

We will begin with a Palates workout. This helps strengthen your core muscles for a more confident approach to your dance techniques. We shall also cover a minor Aerobics excercise to work on cardiovascular support for toning the body. Finally..we begin and end each class with a good stretching to begin with a loosening before class and end class stretching so to not get a cramp!
