"I wish I could list all the areas that this woman has helped me improve. From poetry, to spoken word, to acting, to being a better person, she has helped me grow as a person and a performer.

She has helped me find and shape my voice as a poet/spoken word artist, Tsion the Wordsmith (pronounced Zion). She has taught me simple English lessons on semantics, how to allow myself to breath on stage, even how to be a better public speaker. Just listen to an example of her work or look up anything I have done and you will see her stamp all over it.

For years, I refused to trust anyone to hear my work and help me improve it. She was the first person who helped me be me; she didn't try to change me as a writer/performer. She only sought to help me better myself (she will probably read this review and critique it lol).

If I had to pick one person to trust to help me in the area of the arts, it would be Tokia C.! You will only be better for working with this wonderful woman!!!"

"Alexa is a great teacher! She has taught me all about auditioning and how it works. She brought scripts to practice with each other and gave the class many tips about acting with another actor or alone in front of a camera and casting director. She's also given a lot of advice about how to start a career in acting and is very supportive. It was really fun and her class helped me figure out that I have a passion for acting. It was a remarkable experience!"

Introduction to Voice Acting: Books & Resources to Check Out

When it comes to the performing arts, voice acting attracts some of the most fiercely dedicated enthusiasts, despite the relative anonymity compared to acting on stage or on screen. In the old days, radio dramas were the most common inspiration for aspiring voice actors. Today, it’s animation. The key component of voice acting, even more than secrecy and seclusion, is versatility. An in-demand voice actor may be called upon to provide the pipes for a cartoon rabbit in a kid's show on Friday, …
