What type of magic would you like to perform for your friends & family? Stage or platform magic (sometimes called Parlor or Cabaret)? Mentalism or mind-reading? How about close-up magic (like cards & coins): Is that your thing? I'm Jeff, my stage name is "Mr. Jeffo" and I specialize in entertaining children & families with my own brand of magic and storytelling. Hi! My name is Josh and I would love to be your acting coach. I am specialized in teaching musical theatre acting but have an extensive knowledge of many acting techniques that I use to help teach students and I even use during my own auditions. I have performed in many different styles of theatre and different stages ranging from a small 30 seat Black-Box theatre all the way to The Royal Opera House in the Palace of Versailles in France. Not only have I worked on stage, but I have also worked behind the table with a major Los Angeles casting director and a prominent talent agency in Los Angeles. I believe that I would be an asset to your training due to the fact that I am still in the musical theatre field and know what major casting directors and other professionals are looking for in performers. Shoot me a message and let's get to work!
Josh received his training at Syracuse University in 2020 where he received a degree in Musical Theatre. As an expert in his field, Josh looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals. Josh’s teaching style is fun, informative, and easy. He is specialized in musical theatre performance b

My strong background in Vocal Pedagogy includes a working knowledge of the anatomy of the vocal mechanism and the acoustical physics of sound production. These fundamentals can be applied for significant and often immediate improvement in sound quality both in sing and in spoken word. Targeted diagnosis of the issues and clear remedies are the name of the game. These lessons are for those that are looking to gain confidence and stamina for presentations at work, or for those looking to overcome speech difficulties.

One of my college acting professors told us, “if you can’t handle rejection, find another major. Actors are rejected more than they’re cast. You will have to deal with rejection every day; and if you let it get to you, you won’t last long”. Those words stuck with me all these years: not only for their brutal honesty, but also because I wish I had asked her: how do we deal with all this rejection? Fortunately, there are many A-list stars who can tell you stories of how they experie …
