I have taken several lessons and his lessons to be comprehensive and creative.
He is very professional and has always adapted to my needs and level with much encouragement.

Hi!
I was born and raised in Paris and lived there until I was 18, which is when I moved to NYC for college. I am a true Parisian who loves and breathes France, and I look forward to sharing that with you. I make sure to customize my lessons to each student and their needs and interests. I want to know what you are seeking to learn and what your objectives are which sill structure our lessons together. I want each of my student to feel like they leave each class feeling excited about what they learned, and am always open to feedback and suggestions.
About Gabriela
To tell you a bit more about myself, my mother is Dominican/American and my father is Lebanese, but I was born and raised in Paris, France, which explains that I speak French, English, Italian and Spanish fluently. From a young age, I have had a deep appreciation and passion for languages, as well as other cultures. I moved to NYC to attend Columbia University, where I studied International Relations. I started tutoring on the side while in college and absoluty love working with children. Since graduating, I work in tv/film production where the hours are always changing, which would allow me to continue tutoring. I am a social, personable and responsible person, who cares about the needs and interests of whoever I work with. I customize my classes from student to student, and am always open to feedback and suggestions.

I am a French native from a small island called La Réunion, who has travelled the world and taught students from varying countries and from all levels. I came from hating languages to being a language-lover and world-traveler. I have a dual-degree in English & Korean for Foreign Affairs specializing in Teaching French as a Second Language. I've had the chance to tutor amazing students in New Zealand, France, Ireland and South Korea. I love sharing my passion and knowledge to others and I like to adapt and personalize my lessons based on my student's goals, finding unique, fun, uncommon and easy ways for them to learn! I like to teach what I call practical languages: skills, vocabulary and grammar you will need in any given real-life situation in French. Like reading? We can work on literature materials. Like music? We can work on songs lyrics. I am looking forward to meeting you!
About Delphine
I have taught French as a Second Language in France, Ireland, New Zealand and South Korea. My experience in teaching French abroad to students of all levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced) has led me to being in charge for the past 2 years of training all new interns in a leading creative agency here in New York.
I have a Dual Bachelor's Degree in English & Korean for Foreign Affairs with an additional specialization in Teaching French as a Second Language from the University of La Rochelle (France), a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising & Graphic Design from the NYIT (US), and a Masters Degree in Communication Arts specializing in Digital Marketing from EFAP (S
I am currently the Senior Art Director of an acclaimed luxury creative agency. I have had the chance to work with amazing clients such as L'Oréal USA, Neiman Marcus, Akola Jewelry and LVLXIII x Jason Derulo to name a few.
I truly believe the best way to learn is to find 1. Meaning and 2. Passion.
1. Why am I learning this? How am I going to use this knowledge? I find it important to work with my students based on their goals, whether it be passing an exam, learning the basics, perfecting existing skills or reaching the proficiency level needed to just get around in another country or a succeed in their career.
2. What helped me and my students was finding something fun or something we could relate to and feel passionate about. When I teach I like to find often unlikely/uncommon comparisons, tools and materials to help my students understand and memorize what they need to know in the most effective manner.
