Annie is a professional vocalist, teacher, and performing songwriter located in Nashville, TN, who brings a unique set of experiences to every musical venture she embarks on. Annie is a classically trained vocalist who traveled the country and the world with the renowned Millikin University Choir during her undergraduate studies. After graduating with a degree in Commercial music in 2009, she moved to Nashville, where she quickly became a well-known member of the songwriting and performing communities. She has released 2 independent albums and a number of singles, and has played shows all over the US and on a solo tour in Europe. She has been teaching music lessons since 2006, but officially launched her music studio in 2016, where she teaches students the cornerstones of music- theory, technique, and artistry- but also hopes to instill a lifelong love of music in each student she teaches.

In this class, we'll cover the basics of how to sing vocal harmonies, from the music theory foundations that will help you understand the "why" behind different harmonic sounds, to vocal exercises designed to train your ear and build your confidence in hearing and singing your own vocal harmonies.

I I've been teaching private music lessons since 2006, and have taught students from age 4 to 65! I use my classical background and commercial singing experience to help students learn a well-rounded vocal technique that's focused on healthy singing while finding the best stylistic techniques to really help you shine. I work with students who are preparing for auditions, aspiring towards professional success, or want to sound a little better rocking out in their car!

I'm enjoying my lessons with Annie very much. My lessons are usually in home but until the stay at home restrictions are lifted the online lessons are working out much better than I had anticipated.

She’s very helpful and insightful for what I needed at the time she was not demeaning or overbearing and I thought very comfortable working with her when I return to Tennessee I will definitely consider her again

Annie is an extremely multi-talented singer: She can sing classical to country. Annie is musically educated and an excellent teacher. She directs our St. Joseph Youth Choir - and the kids LOVE "Ms. Annie." You will find studying with Ms, Adams a positive and educational experience!

My 4 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons from Annie for around 2-3 months and she LOVES it! Mrs Annie is so kind and patient with her, she is progressively getting better and more interested with each lesson. I would recommend Annie to anyone who is looking for music or voice lessons! I've worked with Annie multiple times and am always impressed by her talent and professionalism.  She has very unique vocal control and the ability to deliver complicated phrasing or melodies with ease.  Annie can also take those complicated phrases or melodies and present them in a way that seems so attainable to those listening.  But don't be fooled, it's not :)  It's harder than it sounds.  I highly recommend taking advantage of the chance to work with or learn from Annie.
