We've clashed before on song subject matter and I came in and asked in the chat if a certain Christmas song was okay (Coventry Carol). She seemed to take a picture of the chat with the phone and then left the camera and mic off and ignored me. I left and came back later for a moment and she commented to another student "He keeps coming back." In the last class I had with her (my second class) she was demanding I explain a movie plot/a song in a tone I found disagreeable so I left abruptly. I wasn't insisting on singing anything. She could have said she won't allow me to sing the song if I won't explain it and I would've happily moved on. That is why she was behaving this way today. I admit that I shouldn't have handled things the way I did. It was rude. But I coming in today I had no intention to bring up the same issue, I just wanted to ask about a different song. I disagree with the way she handled things today.
If you want to keep things family friendly, fine, but I don’t know where in the Bible it says Jesus only loves “clean” art and would praise songs for how clean they are. She wouldn’t move on either until there was 3 minutes left. I had asked if it was okay if I sang a song about zombies and after I removed the lines referring to brain eating she still objected and lectured me about the song referencing zombies in the premise.
