I have been teaching for over fifteen years. I play various styles including jazz, rock, blues, classical, country, and bluegrass. 
Instruments I teach include guitar, dobro, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele.  I also teach the Q Chord. I have performed in many different bands including rock, top forty, bluegrass, gospel, and country. I enjoy teaching students and find it to be fulfilling.

We will cover guitar in the style of such artists as Chet Atkins, Scotty Anderson, Merle Travis, and Tommy Emmanuel. Instructional material will be available for screenshot or download.

With over fifteen years experience, I am looking forward to either getting you started or taking you further on this  instrument for all seasons. We will play standard fare as well as any of your favorites. You will learn strum and sing and/or play melodies.

My first lesson with Kenton went great! After self teaching for a year he was able to quickly connect a lot of dots in my head to give me a much better understanding of several things I was struggling with.

Very patient, understanding and kind. Therefore He can

Kenton did an amazing job arranging a song for me, even though it was his first time listening to it. He was very patient with me and explained everything in detail. 

Kenton is so kind and patient! He helped me set up my banjo bridge and tune it (yes, I am THAT much of a newbie!) then taught me to play hot cross buns. Excited to continue our banjo lessons; I bought 15 more classes!
