I’m just a beginner. I appreciate how patient and merciful Patrick as I try to work my way past mistakes and he’s encouraging. He explains things clearly and thanks to his lessons and guidance I’m already making a little progress.
Abdulaziz S.
Capable, courteous, and very well versed in his field. Patrick's flexible schedule made it possible for us to cram for an upcoming test, on short notice.
Conveniently, he's preparing to teach a university cpurse on the same subject matter.

John is the man! I've only had three lessons thus far, but have learned a ton. He is very knowledgeable, and has done a great job catering to my skill level (intermediate).
Karen S.
John is an excellent teacher. I’m a real beginner, and , instead of acting bored with my level of “playing”, he was very encouraging. His instruction is clear and precise. He had me transitioning between four different chords in my first half hour! So pleased!
Jane
It was a No-Pressure first lesson so I’m looking forward to the next one.

My students will have the opportunity to learn music theory and perform their favorite songs from any genre in my lessons. Throughout my 27 years of playing the guitar and 17 years of teaching it, I have learned that patience and practice are what defines a great guitarist. During my lessons, the student will not be rushed, and they will not feel uncomfortable nor nervous in my setting. Overall, their time will be used effectively when they are with me. Understanding is one aspect, but practice completes the process. A student has to practice at home as well. They will be provided practice sheets or online exercises to help them achieve that effectively.

I look forward to my lesson every week and the time spent there just flies by so fast. "After looking for weeks for a vocal teacher, I came across Astrid here on TakeLessons and felt she might be a good person to try a few lessons with. I showed up the lesson to find out that she was the older sister of two of my good friends and to find out that she is the best vocal teacher I could have found! She's very patient, fun, talented, helpful, and silly, and she really makes learning to train my voice awesome! I take one 1/2 hour lesson usually once a week with her, and I've already completed two full songs with her in the few months I've been training with her!
Astrid is definitely someone I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vocal coach, plus she has an awesome voice. Definitely going to continue lessons with her! :)"

I am very pleased with my granddaughter's progress and continued enthusiasm. Priscilla is great at keeping young minds focused and motivated. She gets them playing tunes they enjoy as well working on the theory and fundamentals. I highly recommend her for any child with a desire to learn music and play an instrument."
