Are you a beginner piano player interested in learning how to play your favorite songs? Do you like how the piano sounds and want to learn what each note is or how to take control of the instrument? Are you a singer looking to grow with your vocal exercises and learn how to play scales?
I learned how to play piano 4 years ago when I started teaching music lesson. When I first started I was teaching voice, so I had to learn scales and chords to be able to warm up and accompany the students I was working with. Pretty soon I was playing piano with my students for their recitals, and quickly I learned how to utilize the piano either for performance or practice!
Whether you are planning on leading with it, using it as accompaniment to someone else/yourself, or just want to learn for fun as a hobby, I can teach you all you need to know for your beginner piano studies! If you have any questions, please message me!

About Dana
Welcome to my page! I believe strongly that each student, young or old, deserves respect and diligence on my part. Of course, no lesson would be complete without some corny humor and an understanding that each student is unique in their own way. My specialty is in making music accessible to everyo

We'll work on the ear as well as technique and theory together. In addition we'll begin to learn how to play written music on the piano, working level by level.
About Grady
My personal philosophy of music is to explore and learn as much from my students as I can teach them. For me teaching is like going on an adventure to find something together. I've been able to play all over the world and tour with many different musicians and the thing that made the core of every

I am a Broadway musical director and pianist with over 15 years of experience, looking to start teaching piano. When I was young and first learning piano, I practiced a lot more when I was interested in and excited about the material I was being given. My goal is to meet you where you are and get you where you want to go, keeping you engaged every step of the way.
Are you brand new and learning to read music for the first time? Are you more advanced and looking to push yourself with new material and professional feedback? Maybe you always wanted to know what those chord symbols mean? Are you looking to accompany yourself when you sing? Is there a song you've loved for years and wanted to be able to play? I'm happy to focus on all aspects of music, from theory and technique, to performance and professionalism.
I am open to all ages and backgrounds. I suggest starting with a consultation to assess your current skill set and goals, and if we gel we can proceed forward.
About Rick

I use many of the method books. I believe there is not one method for everyone, as everyone learns differently.

Chuch is a great teacher and I recommend him wholeheartedly. I have been mentoring under him for over 6-months and I feel I made the right choice. He has customized my lessons to my needs, level and skills and has been very flexible with the learning lessons themselves. He is very knowledgeable and able to help me through all my issues. I am difficult to work with, generally speaking and as I am stubborn-bad habits at play here, but he was able to find the right approach for me and I have made great progress since I've started given I have had limited-to-no-time to practice at home at times.
I am over 30, so it goes to show that even older dogs can be led to learn new things, given they have the right teacher and approach.
Absolutely recommended!"
