About Casey
Hi I'm a 33 year old professional musician that has worked hard to become a first call drummer for performance, instruction, and studio session work in the Atlanta area. Over the past 5 years I have toured internationally, recorded with countless regional, national and local artists, and have gained a positive reputation in the Atlanta community as a unique, innovative, and passionate drum teacher. I studied music at The University of Mississippi and I am qualified to teach numerous styles including Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz, Electronica, World and many others. I have years of experience teaching private and group lessons (I'm a recurring Camp Counselor in Summer music programs). I offer inspired beginning drummers of all ages the chance to learn the art of drum set playing within a basic, relaxed, and fun context.

***I have a very
demanding teaching schedule at a local school but am currently accepting a limited number of students in their home.***

*** Studio Equipment ***
My drum studio includes 2 drum kits to help aid in visual learning, percussion instruments from around the world, a PA system to play along to music and great vibes!

*** Travel Equipment ***
For student's home lessons I require only the student's willingness to learn (having a drum or set helps too).

*** Specialties ***
Based within a fun, relaxed context, Casey has developed a natural teaching method that focuses on learning and understanding the building blocks of drum set playing, familiarizing and connecting these building blocks, and applying them to individual expression. He has the ability to take nearly anyone without prior drum set or rhythmic experience, and, within days, turn them into beat playing drummers. His approach focuses on: HAVING FUN, building an understanding and relationship with each drum, the basic rudimentary foundation of drumming, how to approach the drums, hold the sticks, set up the drums, and tune the drums, basic mechanical techniques, development of each limb, learning how to read basic drum charts and play to them, learning and playing the most significant beats and patterns in the history of drum set, and gaining the ability to effectively teach oneself how to improve as a drummer.

About Phil
I've been playing guitar for over 20 years and teaching since 2008. Along with teaching, I've also been pursuing music recording, an endeavor which has produced two full-length albums and one that is still in progress that should be released sometime in 2018.

*** Lesson Details ***
When teaching guitar or any other instrument, I typically use a method book to guide the lessons. In addition to the lesson book, which will cover music-reading, we'll learn scales, chords and strum patterns, among other things. I try to tailor each lesson according to the student's skill level and individual musical interests.

After learning the basics, we can learn different styles of music, including rock, blues, jazz, classical, etc. I look forward to exploring these genres with you!

*** Travel Equipment ***
I bring my own instrument. I would ex
pect my student to have or to rent his/her own instrument.

About Judy
The only reason I have taught piano is that I LOVE music, especially piano music. I have THE PASSION for piano teaching. I love to share what I know and appreciate of, to see people enjoy music and piano playing, and to bring more people closer with piano music. It always breaks my heart to see a lot of students (mainly beginning and intermediate leveled) are NOT learning music but mainly asked to memorize every musical piece before they even learn the structure of the music or practice it. Their goal is to play a musical piece out quickly, rather than LEARNING or STUDYING the music or piano in the process.

I would like my students to enjoy, understand, and bring the ARTISTRY of music into their life, but not just being able to play out something. I explain why we need to have a good posture and awareness of how our physical par
ts work together, why we need to have a flexible wrist to play certain passages, why we push our elbows out to play some notes, why we use different weight transfer to the hands, why we don’t attack notes, why we rock our hands back and forth to play certain notes, why we round up the notes rather than pressing the keys down, as early as the students are able to comprehend.

Piano studying is not only about learning the notations but also expressions, interpretations, phrasing, structures, tonal relationships, mood, articulations, analysis, and etc. for intermediate and advanced piano students. I include some music history in association with the pieces the students are learning to play, besides the theory and structure of it. I would ask my students to find any patterns in the pieces and any differences between the same or similar passages. I often ask students to tell me what they can find throughout the pieces based on the knowledge they have and what they have acquired through the lessons. I ask them to listen while playing and train them to listen. When they make mistakes, they likely do notice the weirdness about them by listening the sound. I imitate HOW they play a passage and HOW I play it, and ask them what the differences are in terms of techniques and artistic interpretation. I explain how the students should practice and how they can tackle and isolate a problematic area. Competitive endeavors and striving for excellence are appreciated with pedagogic approaches.

It is important for me, as a piano instructor, to understand what purposes each student would like to achieve. Although striving for excellence is my personal goal and is what I would like my students to have, not every student takes piano lessons for the same purpose. Some students take piano lessons simply because they just enjoying the therapeutic quality of playing the piano. I am totally respecting that. Having said that, my approach of teaching varies, according to the needs of the students. I don't ever use a universal single method or approach to teach all. Some methods work better for some students but not others. That's why I use different method books to different students.

It always makes my day when I hear music pieces my students play with their hearts and enjoyment. It is my joy to see them grow and immerse in music and music studies.

Judy is a knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient teacher who imparts good techniques right from the start. She is extremely professional, but makes what can be frustrating at times...fun. Some things take time, but I've never felt rushed or pressured. I would certainly recommend her to any one who has played, has never played...beginner or advanced, Judy would be great as your piano teacher!

My daughter started taking lesson's from Ms. Huang when she was only six years old. Judy Huang was a patient and very professional teacher when instructing my very young, yet shy daughter. The instructions were well organized and fun. We had to move away for a few years but after my return, I sought out Ms. Huang to continue teaching my now teenage daughter. I found that the piano teacher we hired in the interim was teaching my daughter how to play by ear only. Once Ms. Huang resumed my child's instructions, my daughter absorbed music theory, became proficient in reading sheet music while keeping her artistic flare. I would highly recommend Ms. Huang as she is a gifted piano teacher.

I’ve been a student of Judy Huang for 3+ years and look forward to lesson time every time! She is an excellent teacher! She doesn’t just tell you how..she shows you how to play well, using the best technique and musicality, not playing notes. She has a calm patience about herself and a kind caring demeanor that makes a stumbling student like me feel at ease! I highly recommend her to any piano student, beginner or advanced.

One-to-One Acting & Voice Lessons with a Concierge Approach.

With a background of over 12 years in classical vocal and acting practice, coupled with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Belmont University, I am uniquely positioned to train students of all ages, backgrounds, and genres.

Unlike most studios, my approach focuses on the true artist development—through a consultative, one-to-one methodology. Because I understand that each artist has a different set of goals and desires—each lesson is tailor-made to fit the needs of that student.

By developing closely-knit relationships with each of my students, I am able to execute bespoke plans that focus specifically on your needs and goals rather than a typical, "one size fits all" program

In 2015, I graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical The
atre.

In May of 2015, I signed on to the Daniel Hoff Agency in New York City. Shortly after, I began working for Disney Cruise Lines as a MainStage performer until this past September (2016).

My passion for the arts goes well beyond the stage & I'm actively pursuing a film career here in Atlanta, GA. I have taught voice & acting since 2013 - including many workshops & masterclasses in Houston, Nashville, & New York

It is my belief that finding & developing your inner artist, follows sincere passion for your craft. It is this very passion for which I'm driven to develop my students' voice & acting abilities as they continue to grow.

Honestly the BEST!! I was able to purchase 10 lessons with Michael as a birthday present. I love broadway singing and am self-taught. I had basically reached the end of what I could do myself, and these lessons were incredibly helpful. I had a major breakthrough and have never been happier with my voice. He is incredibly organized, professional, and friendly. It can be nerve racking singing in front of someone, but he makes you feel comfortable and enables you to have fun and look forward to your lessons. I wish I was able to continue my lessons with Michael. I would recommend him to everyone!! Seriously the best!

Hi!

I'm Ricardo and I have been recording music for over 15 years and specialize in the self-recording process. I truly enjoy recording songs and use it as therapy in my life as well as entertainment for my friends and family. Personally, I believe that everyone should record songs and get out their innermost feelings and thoughts - anything to make sure those things don't stay buried inside. If you or someone you know is interested in learning to record music from a vocalist standpoint (singer, writer, rapper, poet, screamer, etc.) then I'd love to assist you in the process! Especially if you're considering spending a ton of money on studio time - which isn't always necessary. I hope to work with you soon!

Why Are There Different Violin Sizes, and Why Does it Matter?
One of the main concerns that violin students and their parents typically have is purchasing the right-sized violin. Obviously you can't give a five-year-old a full-size violin and expect him or her to be able to handle the instrument.
