Excellent teacher for our 14 year old beginner. His instruction was conversational, engaging and relevant to my son's interests and skill level. Pleasant and courteous demeanor as well. Highly recommend Camden.

Camden was an excellent instructor for our 13 year-old daughter. Although we had a handful of scheduling issues where timing was not communicated clearly by the instructor in every case (hence the reduction from 5 stars to 4), when he was present he was patient, engaged and really focused on finding ways to get our daughter to enjoy the learning process.

About Casey
While still in high school, three of my songs were featured on National Public Radio and I was able to play at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. I next went to school at App State and then graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music and headlined the graduation concert! My grad school was moving around Atlanta, Savannah, Athens, Nashville, New York and Chicago as a hired guitarist, and teaching in music stores. I played in a wide range of styles and roles (engineer, promoter, musical director, band leader etc) and around 300 gigs!

I took a break last year to finish 2 books I had bounci
ng around in my head and hard drive and self published them last year! The books compliment lessons so our time is spent showing you how to play and playing together, not you looking at me, while I draw a chord. The books have tab with rhythm, chord/scale diagrams and a written description of each topic like an encyclopedia. They also show you how music fits together and give you a solid foundation to build on and music ideas you can use.

As a performer in Savannah, Georgia, my band received the "Best Blues Band" award from Connect Magazine in 2007. I'm currently endorsing Curt Mangan Strings and Gadow Guitars because they're awesome!!!

*** Lesson Details ***
My teaching style is all about building on what you already know and pointing out what you're doing right. I'm a very laid back person and love to hear and learn new music so I try to incorporate the music you want to learn as much as possible. Above all else I try to teach you how to practice so that you get the most out of your guitar when you're not in your lesson.

*** Studio Equipment ***
recording studio, amps, music stand chairs...has a dog.

*** Travel Equipment ***
Travel amp, acoustic or electric, cables.

*** Specialties ***
I specialize in teaching theory, technique, performance and improvisation through song so you don't feel like you're working. I am fluent in and have performed these styles on stage: rock, jazz, blues, pop, metal, show tunes, surf, funk, jam, and R&B. I like it all! I teach you to have a solid foundation and how to get songs performance ready. I also try to encourage you to write your own music and can show you some ways to be more creative and get more mileage out of some of the things you already know.

About Justice
Hi, I am Justice
I'm a director and music producer with approximately 20 years in the music industry.
As the son of a preacher, I began music by toying with the musical instruments in my home, which transpired me to play for my father's church at the age of 14.
After 8 years of music, I became a member of various musical groups in Ghana/West Africa, and later participated in European tours with famous artists and other European groups. Living in Germany for 15 years, I studied music theory, which tremendously enhanced and polished my musical expertise.
I have become a passionate and talent
ed music teacher, with a very unique and effective style of teaching.
Today, I teach all ages with the mission to inspire and bring out the music in them.
My teaching philosophy is based on my belief that learning is fun!
Through practice and helpful instruction, I will work with you to achieve your goals in a relaxed, and encouraging environment with positivity and praise.

Justice was the perfect piano instructor for me. I wanted to learn one specific song to play and sing as a proposal to my girlfriend. Justice helped me learn it in only 5 lessons, even though I had never played piano previously! He was skillful, encouraging, and fun! Justice made the most of each lesson to ensure that we met my goal. The engagement turned out beautifully; 'she said yes'! And my fiancé was quite surprised that I could play piano. Thanks Justice!!

About Marsha
Hi, there! My name is Marcy and I can't wait to meet you!
I've been teaching voice lessons since 2012 and have loved helping my students develop their voices potential, expand their range, and just enjoy singing without strain!

As a music lover (Soul, RnB, Gospel, Blues & Jazz) I was able to gather a lot of live performance experience by touring Europe 2005 - 2009, which helped me to integrate "stage presence" into my vocal lesson plans. I teach with empathy and passion!
I am currently earning my degree in Music and Technology with a focus on voice at the Atlanta Institute of Music.
I
look forward to helping you reach your goals! :)

About Cassidy
As a professional violinist graduated from the University of Michigan, I am dedicated to making music of all forms come to life—and to sharing my passion for music, art, and the world around with as many people as possible. Having earned BMs in both Violin Performance and Music History, I believe that a holistic approach to playing the violin is crucial, and I am passionate about teaching individuals of all ages the craft of the violin while exploring the theory and history that make our art so captivating.

My own musical interests center around new music (classical works being written toda
y) and music from the Renaissance and late Medieval time periods; the fields are more similar than one might think! I currently perform with a specialized new-music quartet and several other ensembles, working extensively with contemporary student composers and aiming to share their work throughout the Ann Arbor community.

My son had his first lesson with Cassidy today. He enjoyed his lesson. Over the years he got some bad habits. Cassidy came up with some creative exercises that helped him to improve his posture and grip. He is looking forward to his next lesson with Cassidy.

Cassidy Goldblatt is a very bright and enthusiastic teacher who offers tremendous insight into creatively effective ways of playing the violin. When I recently performed in front of her as practice for my jury, I found that her most stressed advice (for me) was to focus on elements concerning the mind, and opening up the body: things that I never considered speculating into in my past ten years of playing violin. Her specific advice turned out to be extremely helpful when playing under high stress, and I not only regret not finding her sooner, but I once again commend Cassidy on her imaginative insight and never-ending ideas on technique and musicality. Cassidy's constantly supportive and graceful demeanor were key to creating a meaningful collaboration in our time together, and would only help but inspire passion for music in her future students.
