I’ve been teaching English for several years and I can proudly state that all my students are always achieving their learning goals! I focus on all aspects of language on my lessons but especially on conversation because I believe it’s a primary language function. My goal is to teach English in a simple way so my students feel comfortable and natural using language in their everyday life. I've been teaching English since 2002 and my students have gone on to develop travel abroad, participate in and win different competitions and contests, and build their careers. I offer basic English courses for beginners with no prior experience to beginner-level learners. I provide lessons on Phonics, Basic English Vocabulary, Basic Reading, Basic Conversation, Basic Listening, and, English Shadowing. If you’d like, I can utilize English songs, movies, and dramas, so that our classes will be enjoyable! - Attentive to student's needs - Customized English lessons depending on your interests and proficiency. - I will provide preview and review material for you to utilize. - I will assign homework customized to the time you can commit. I can speak four languages, so I understand what it is like to learn a new language which is what makes me an excellent English Second Language teacher. I also hold TESOL and TEFL certificates as well. Even though I grew up in a home where we spoke English, I did not go to an English-speaking school until I was 11. When I first started learning how to write English I absolutely hated it but because of my mom and English teachers that believed in me and helped me, by 10th grade, I became one of the best English students. Since then I accumulated 3 degrees including a Masters - all in English. Therefore, I truly believe in the power of believing in others because eventually, they could excel in a subject they never thought they could which has a big impact on one's self-esteem and opportunities.
