Experienced teacher of 10 years. I find a student's unique gift and let it shine through their music! I build a solid foundation in my lessons, so a student can sing/play/write any style of music and reach their specific goals. I provide all of the tools necessary to hone their craft, from technique, musicianship, theory, and performance skills. Whether you are an aspiring professional or music is your hobby, all backgrounds are welcome! I set high, yet attainable expectations for my students, all while being patient and understanding of the exciting learning process!

I am very patient and believe that with hard work and dedication, anyone can learn to sing! I have a piano at home and can train you to deliver amazing performances. You'll be ready for karaoke in no time!

I frame all of my lessons in reference to what music really is: the performance of songs. Vocalists work on pitch, tone, endurance, and vocal agility and will train using personalized arrangements of their favorite songs and artists to guide them along the way.

In year 2008 I became the single youngest person to be accepted into the world renowned Speech Level Singing International teacher training and certification program. 20 years ago as a beginner singer, I struggled a lot with stage fright. It took me years to build the courage to sing in front of an actual voice teacher. I never thought I would be able to sing in front of anyone, let alone on a stage in front of 100 or even 1500 people- but I found ways to make those dreams a reality. The physical and mental exercises I teach can help even the most self-conscious person become a confident singer. The confidence you gain from singing and performing in front of an audience will overflow into every area of your life. I have been a professional opera and musical theater singer, recording artist (pop and folk music) and soloist for many years. I love to help others find their voice and fulfill their dreams of becoming a singer.
