I've been teaching cello for 10 years and my students have gone on to participate in All-State orchestra, and play in professional orchestras. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to produce sound and play simple songs and as time goes on you'll be able to read music fluently and perform with ease. I specialize in Classical, and typically use Suzuki and Klengal scale books. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!
I love music. I love it so much that I have made it my career. I have been playing the cello for over 20 years and have studied in universities since 2002. In that time, I have worked extensively with great artists such as, Rhonda Rider, Joel Krosnick, Andy Mark, Nicholas Tzavares, and Mark Steinbe
I had no experience with string instruments and feel I'm on my way to playing the cello competently. Byron keeps things fun and moving along at a good pace. He's especially good at diagnosing the cause of any difficulties I'm having.

I am offering violin lessons, both online and at students' places! Whether you have no music experience at all or have some violin experience, I can help you improve technique and musicality by working on exercises and various pieces of music. Not only do I draw from my experience studying music and taking private lessons since childhood, but I also tailor my lessons to meet each student’s individual learning style and interests.

Some students might want more vocal.exercises and working on technique and less time on a particular song they want to learn
Other students might want to spend more time working on an individual song than working on vocal.exercises

This is a class for the student with 8-10+ years of piano background. I would explore the areas where the student needs their focus. I would explore their aptitude and mastery of musicianship. I would build on their strengths and develop the areas that need improvement. I would also encourage the student to bring any current or past materials for this endeavor.
I have worked for over 30 years as a professional accompanist and musician in the greater metropolitan Detroit area. I have earned several degrees, which include a Bachelor of Music Performance in Organ and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Music both from Wayne State University. My studies

After the first lesson my son felt engaged, self motivated to practice and interested in reading notes. His skill in reading music, understanding some theory and playing has rapidly improved.
I attribute his sucess to Stephen. From the first lesson Stephen has been engaging, turning learning into more than directions. My son is comfortable asking questions and Stephen is great at explaining what he's asking and why.
Stephen communicates with us. We feel like we can support our son and provide him with what he needs.
I highly recommend Stephen. Hes a talented musician and excellent teacher."
Nils is an awesome instructor and have been learning and improving a lot. I plan to do in person and Skype lessons when I travel."
Learning made easy I call it.
Rebecca has helped me reach my goal of becoming a more accomplished choir member. I sing alto and before I took lessons with her, it was very difficult for me to stay on my part. She also helped me to breathe correctly and sing without straining my voice. I have learned SO MUCH from her, from how to warm up to how to project my voice so it can be heard. I am much more confident about my voice. She is a great teacher."
As you progress in your drum lessons, you will learn to play more advanced drum patterns. Here, Federal Way, WA drum instructor Kendra M. shares some exercises to help you play 16th-note drum fills... When you create a four-fill beat, the possibilities are endless. Many beginning drummers, however, tend to rely on the same pattern every time they play a one-measure solo. One of the first fills most drummers learn on a five-piece kit moves from snare drum down through all three toms as f …

The basics of singing are the same for everybody -- vocalists should be aware of unnecessary tension in your throat or body, maintaining good breath support, and never forcing your voice beyond its natural range. The principles are the same whether you are singing opera or rock. However, there are elements of vocal technique and style which apply to different genres and voice types, and some singing tips for guys that are as important for the next budding Pavarotti as for the aspiring death …
Some start optimistically young, others driven by passion start much later in life, but when is the right time to start violin lessons? Like any other form of art, there’s simply no black or white when it comes to exploring music. The right time to start can’t be measured exclusively by age. Some ambitious parents start their kids at the age of two, and while many go off to become YouTube sensations, a whole lot more tend to give up by the age of five. So what should you consider before div …
