Jason T. started his illustrious performing career at the tender age of five in day camp volunteering to sing “The Happy Wanderer” a capella for Parent’s Day.

Mounting productions in his garage as a child, he convinced his friends to be in the show with only his father as a reluctant audience member who was toiling away at his work bench. Combine these garage productions with performances on the back patio and it was clear Jason always loved to put on a show.

In the sixth grade, he performed “The Impossible Dream” from “Man of La Mancha” with his red cape pinned to his shirt and wielding his mighty sword assembled from a yard stick and tin foil. At this point, his career in entertainment was firmly embedded in his heart and soul.

Double majoring in Vocal Performance and Education in college, Jason honed his craft performing in operas and jazz vocal groups all the while learning the business side of entertainment.

I have been a musician since the age of 5 and began singing at the age of 15, after which I continued my classical vocal studies at Southern Methodist University. I teach both private voice and piano. I also work as an Elementary Music Instructor in the Dallas Independent School District. My accomplishments as an educator include Teacher of the Year for the 2009--2010 school year as well as Director of the All City Elementary Honor Choir in Dallas. In addition to teaching, I have performed in musicals with numerous theaters in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

I started playing recognizable melodies on the piano at 18 months old. At that time I was told that I even had perfect pitch. By age 5, my mother started giving me classical, gospel, and improvisational lessons. I was one of her 50 students until my senior year in high school. Through elementary, junior high, and high school, I received a lot of performance experience from school marching/concert bands, choirs, church choirs, piano concerts, band/choral conducting, and composing.

I received my BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington; through college and to the present, I have received over 25 years of performing/directing experience from overseeing two mega-church music ministries. At these ministries, I served as the department head, responsible for lead piano, directing, arranging, worship leading, and departmental oversight.

I have been a music teacher and private lesson instructor for the past 15 years. I have a bachelor of science degree in Music Education and hold a teaching certificate for all-level Music Education. In my private studio I have taught students from 3-70 and have enjoyed them all! In addition to teaching music I also serve as the Music Minister for my church. Students coming to me can expect a tremendous amount of experience as well as a committed, honest and caring teacher.

I teach my students how to understand how music is put together so they can learn even more on their own.

I read, write, and play all styles and I focus on teaching the student fundamentals that work in all styles of music ....AND I get them going on the style they are interested in - pop, rock, country, folk, etc.

I have spent my entire life in the music industry and I can show you how to use what I teach to apply to the real world. I have also been a successful songwriter and I can work with students to learn about song structure and song writing.

I am also good at preparing students for college music classes.

I love learning, and I love sharing how to learn. I began as a self-taught pianist at age 12, and from ages 14 to the present I have had the experience of studying with some of the most phenomenal teachers of this generation. George Katz, former chair of the Drake University Piano Department and student of the legendary artists Alfred Cortot and Marguerite Long; Jerome Lowenthal, also a student of Cortot (and William Kapell) and former chair of the Julliard piano department, and Jose Feghali, winner of the 1985 Cliburn Gold Medal have been my most influential teachers. From them, I learned how to learn, how to teach, and how to teach learning, which I believe is the most important skill.

As a winner of the 2000 Interlochen Concerto Competition, I had my orchestral debut that year with the World Youth Symphony Orchestra at 16. Following that, I have given concerts all over the U.S., some parts of Mexico, Malmo and Stockholm, Sweden, and in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Singer-songwriter, performer, producer, and teacher Christina is a multi-talented musician who has been playing piano as a professional musician for over 18 years. Christina has been involved with music for all her life. Born with perfect pitch and playing piano at the age of three, she has been taking private classical lessons from professors from UNT and has developed her skills throughout playing different genres of style. Christina has had vocal training for 10 years and participated in advanced choirs and jazz ensembles at UNT. Christina has a wonderful passion for music and has a gift of teaching students. She has an extreme devotion and drive to teach others what she has learned from her own musical experience and would like to give students a chance to reach their full musical potential they've always wanted.

Hello! Melissa C. here and I can't wait to meet you! Here's a bit about me.

I have a BFA in Musical Theater with a minor in piano from the University of Oklahoma. I also became a certified Montessori preschool teacher while living in NYC. I have performed in some great places such as Hershey PA, aboard the MS Maasdam cruise ship, Seoul South Korea, traveling tours and of course, good old NYC! I had the great fortune to be in the original cast of SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! on Broadway as well as many other Off Broadway musicals such as the It Girl. Here in Dallas I perform in plays and musicals on a regular basis and I love it!! What gets me excited now is teaching kids, teens and people of all ages to sing or play the piano! I teach in several schools to groups of children and I just love teaching privately!

With 35 years of music-related experience, Danaila is in her 15th year of working as a professional musician and teacher. She has experience teaching from 5-year-old to 55-year-old students, from the beginners to advanced students. Some of her advances students are winners of national competitions and now having a successful career as singers in Europe and America.

Born in Bulgaria, Danaila began her formal music studies at the age of 5 with piano and theory lessons. She won her first prize performing piano when she was 10 years old. Her passion for singing took her to participate actively at children’s and youth choirs.
