I can teach you to crochet almost anything you would like. I've crocheted sweaters, scarves, doilies, afghans, toys and many other items.

About Diane

My journey in music began when I was around 5 years old and first heard the children's choir sing in church. My mother used to tell me that I would beg her to let me sing in the choir but she would always have to tell me I wasn't old enough. As soon as I was old enough, she enrolled me in church choir and I've been in it ever since. I have performed with the Rochester symphony orchestra and chorale, Rochester community band, Rochester civic music, church choirs and orchestras, Lake of the Isles community band, and performed Handel's Messiah at Carnegie hall in New York City. I've done some acting and singing in musicals as well. As I got older, I discovered playing the clarinet was fun but never gave up singing. I just did them both. After becoming proficient on ...

Diane was an excellent instructor and I enjoyed her professionalism and patience with my daughter. unfortunately my daughter became dis- interested due to a need for " a personal touch" that only in home or studio practices could provide.

Crocheting is a hobby I picked up some years ago. It is great for reducing stress all while fostering creativity!
If you would like to learn crochet for the first time, or simply get back in the habit, I would be happy to crochet with you! Please contact me if you would like to know what I cover, as well as if you have any requests.
Starter Tip: For the beginner, I recommend working with viscose or acrylic yarn, as it is easier to work with when determining gauge (space between each stitch).

LOVE her!

Julia is so amazing!! I was flunking high school math and my teachers were horrible... i hated studying by myself and not getting it. When I heard about her through my friends i thought i would come once as a last chance, but now my friends ask ME to help them study for math!!! all it took was a couple of lessons to get me on track, and I feel GREAT that i started!
thanks julia!!

They way our world has developed and changed, and continues to evolve is amazing. Everything can be tied back to the past, and I feel it's important to take a look back, put yourself in that time, and really study how things
