I can teach you to crochet almost anything you would like. I've crocheted sweaters, scarves, doilies, afghans, toys and many other items.

About Diane

My journey in music began when I was around 5 years old and first heard the children's choir sing in church. My mother used to tell me that I would beg her to let me sing in the choir but she would always have to tell me I wasn't old enough. As soon as I was old enough, she enrolled me in church choir and I've been in it ever since.

I have performed with the Rochester symphony orchestra and chorale, Rochester community band, Rochester civic music, church choirs and orchestras, Lake of the Isles community band, and performed Handel's Messiah at Carnegie hall in New York City. I've done some acting and singing in musicals as well.

As I got older, I discovered playing the clarinet was fun but never gave up singing. I just did them both. After ...

Diane was an excellent instructor and I enjoyed her professionalism and patience with my daughter. unfortunately my daughter became dis- interested due to a need for " a personal touch" that only in home or studio practices could provide.

About Kim

Teaching is a wonderful extension of my work as a professional crochet and knit designer and technical editor. A web search will reveal some of my published work over the last decade. As a craft teacher in the NYC area for over 6 years, I have worked with individuals, groups and classes of all ages and skill levels. Most of my experience focuses on working with older adults and people with special needs. Minors must have a supervising adult present. I do not work with groups of young children.

I have studied the history and mastered the skills to make and teach a vast variety of textile techniques. Please see my experience.

Private and group lessons or classes are provided in locations around the NYC area, in my space or via webcam. I charge by the hour, not by the person. You are ...

Kim is very patient and a great teacher. I didn't know how this online learning experience would work but it does work well. With my iPad I can see what she is doing and she can see me while I do it and gives constructive criticism while I work. Mistakes can be corrected promptly before bad habits set in. This has been a great learning experience for me. So glad I found me a good teacher!

I will go at your pace and will know when to challenge and when to slow down with each student. I will be honest about what I know and recommend resources.

About Dana

As a very artsy person, I teach an interesting set of skills and hobbies.

I teach dance in church, school, and recreational studio environments. I already have 2 private lesson students. My NY state certification in dance education for Pre-K through 12 students is in process, and I have a MA degree in this field.

I was an undergraduate Spanish minor, and since then, my love for it has not waned. I practice with native speakers, and I love Latin American dance as well. Lessons in Spanish reading, writing and speaking are bound to be a blast, and cultivate the student's appreciation for the language.

I have been crocheting for over 10 years now. But what I love most is creating my own patterns, for blankets, hats, scarves, and cowls. My work can be seen on Etsy as soon as ...

About Eulis

Hello! Thanks for visiting my profile. Allow me to tell you a bit about myself:
I have been performing as a musician for about 20 years and acting since I was a small boy. I started my musical education as a woodwind player and settled in to the wonderful world of singing over time. Music has opened me up to so many opportunities from touring the world to performing in marvelous concert halls and working with some of today's most revered artists, as well as giving me the opportunity to expand my performance through acting in various plays, musicals, television, and film.

Performing has been my salvation. It has been a best friend and constant source of joy, and I share this gift with others so that it might offer them the same. After 10 years of teaching, I have new ...

I highly recommend Eulis. I'm an experienced singer in the middle of an album project, and I was able to take away some huge tips I was able to put into practice immediately. His ears are incredibly sensitive and can hear what's going on with you in world class form. Highly recommend!!!

I could not recommend a better teacher and person in Eulis. His kind spirit, patient demeanor, and gifted voice provides any student with a strong example of what a professional musician looks like. What most people need is someone who doesn't just paint by the numbers but who is able to assess your goals, talents and desires and match it with just the right program; you'll progress quickly and enjoy every minute of the effort. Because of his vast experience, breadth of skills and years of singing, Eulis provides the kind of musical insights that help you find out who you are and discover or refine your voice. Thanks, Eulis for all the great work we've done together and I look forward to more!

Before we get to Eulis, let’s talk me ;) I am 18 years old, and until about a month ago I had not a bit of experience in singing. At all! YOLO though, so I got online and did the searches, and immediately found Eulis. I read he had some experience performing with Disney and he had some videos of himself singing. I was drawn in by his talent and apparent, very genuine love for voice and music, just as you probably were, in that you are taking the time to read his reviews! Anyways, let me just fill you in to how much more there is to Eulis. Right off the bat, Eulis is an extremely comfortable spirit who gives off a very sincere eagerness to help you in the journey to reaching your vocal potential. Every lesson I have had, I am surprised at how easy it is to develop a skill which forces so much vulnerability from those who try to master it. Eulis creates a completely safe and fun environment in his studio were you can take risks and play with music and your voice. I feel I have his complete dedication and attention in every minute of a lesson, and even through some assignments he gives me to complete independently. Also guys, improvement is fast under Eulis’s direction. In lessons he teaches to condition the entire performer. In other words, equal focus is split between the physicality and techniques of singing and the connection to emotions in music. The combination makes you feel more like a pro than you ever thought you would! Honestly, I could not be more confident that Eulis has the talent to bring out the best of my own. Just book your first lesson to see what I mean. Happy singing!

Through the last 10 years, I've mastered not only the art of crochet, but pattern design and creation as well. I hope to pass on my passion for the art, and I believe the best way to do that is by first - moving at your pace and paying close attention to your needs (I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach) and second - helping you see the fruits of your labor, working side by side with you until you've finished your first creation!

About Terre

Hi, there! My name is Terre & I've been crocheting for the last 10 years, teaching for the last 5! There are so many beautiful things to create (and crocheted items just happen to be all the rage in fashion these days!), and I can't wait to teach you!

Most beginners prefer in-person lessons (at my home studio, or I will travel to your location), but I'm available for online lessons as well. I will customize my instructions to meet your specific needs - we can omit basic lessons if you already have those things down, or spend more time focusing on key areas where you feel you need more one on one time.

Crochet lessons are also great gifts for others! And I've had several groups want to take lessons together, as a weekly or monthly get-together or girls ...
