Bo, a soprano, is currently a graduate assistant at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Her performance experiences include opera performances, the main role"Lauretta" in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Suor Angelica, singing in Duquesne University’s Aria Night, Night of Broadway and Cabaret Favorites, and Scene Night.

As a native of China, she completed her undergraduate at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music in Shenyang, China. Her performances in China include performances with the Shenyang Conservatory of Music and the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts. Bo also took part in making the recordings for Ma Kai’s “Motherland Is In My Heart”. In the summer of 2011, Bo traveled to Rome, Italy, to study and perform at Duquesne University’s Rome campus, successfully completing their Lirica Roma program.

I am a classically trained musician, and I hold degrees in Music from the Eastman School (Rochester, NY) and from Yale University (New Haven, CT). I have performed at Carnegie Hall, as a fellow at the Aspen (CO) Music festival, and on tour at the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago. I have also performed with Joshua Bell on PBS, at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival (CT) and with the Erie, Cape Cod, and Norwalk Symphonies. I've played short runs of over 30 different Broadway shows at a semi-professional theater. I've taught middle-school, high school, and college students as well as elders. I have also played many Blues, Rock, Funk, Jazz, R&B, Salsa, and Merengue shows. I improvise fluently and have taught improvisation at the college and high school levels. I received a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. I continued my studies in New York City in voice, acting and diction.

Melody has been a professional musician, vocalist, and actress since she was 16 years old. She began her career in musical theatre and graduated to film and television, starring in the independent hit "Down and Out with the Dolls." Her rolls in theatrical productions include Ti Moune in Once on This Island, Rizzo in Grease and numerable others. Originally from Washington State, she relocated to San Diego to go to college. She currently holds a Bachelor's of Music from San Diego State University's Don Powell school of Music and Dance, and is a Certified SLS Vocal Technique Instructor.
