A Professional Musician, I am now happy to pass my skills and knowledge on to the next generations so that they may have ALL the fun and enjoyment of music in their lives, that I had in mine.

I have toured the East Coast Venues (NYC to Key West) for 30 years, and produced 10 CDs, and have 3 EMMY AWARDS for sound track music for the EXPEDITION FLORIDA SERIES, Nature Documentaries. They were funded by the University of Florida, Museum of Natural History, and the Tourist Development Council of Alachua County, Florida.

I play acoustic and electric six string guitars, electric bass guitar, piano and keyboards, percussion and hand drums. I majored in Flute and Voice at UF and have spent my entire life immersed in the world of music.

I have played classical, rock, reggae, folk, jazz, swing, country, bluegrass, praise, gospel, afro-pop, ska and 80's music. I have toured as a solo act, a duo, a trio, and with a full 6 piece band, SKATTERBRAINZ, for 8 years.

Hi! My name is Kallie and I have been teaching piano, flute, voice and acting for five years. I am very passionate about teaching and music. I am a singer/songwriter with 2 CD's on itunes and I have been involved in children theater for 7 years appearing in12 shows such as Annie, Seussical the Musical and Snow White. I am also a member of ASCAP and TAXI. I love to share my joy of music with all who will listen. Children are my specialty but I welcome students of all ages.

I have a Master’s in Opera Performance from the Boston and New England Conservatories as well as graduating from Vocal Performance programs at Boston University and Western Washington University. I have sung professionally with Boston Lyric Opera, Children’s Theater Companies, churches and synagogue. I love to premier new music and have toured in Athens, Greece. I have worked with small children as a Musikgarten teacher as well as touring artist residency programs which introduce children to music and theater in schools.

My students have had successful auditions for college opera programs and music theater productions They gain a larger vocal range and an easy, natural way of singing whether it is in a rock band or a church choir. Together we find the joy of singing as well as building a singing technique.

I have taught at the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University and local music studios as well as maintaining my private teaching practice.

Mark holds a Master of Music from the University of Missouri. He teaches piano, voice, violin, and composition. His students range from pre-schoolers to adults and include all skill levels, from beginner to professional. Mark is a faculty member at the Community Music Center and Multnomah Arts Center where we directs the choirs. He is also an Associate Conductor with the Pacific Youth Choir where we directs the boys choir.
In addition to teaching, Mark is actively involved in Portland's classical music scene. He sings with the Portland Symphonic Choir, Oregon Symphony, and as the tenor soloist at the First United Methodist Church.

I have been playing drums since I was 10 years old. I loved playing drums so much that it became my life work. I was so advanced at an early age that I began giving lessons and teaching drum line when I was 13. I joined my first professional rock band at 15, and I have been playing and teaching music ever since.
I was fortunate to play in one the worlds top drum and bugle corps, the Santa Clara Vanguard, I also studied Jazz from the area's top jazz drummer, Dick Carlo, who was a student of Joe Morello. My technique is a unique combination of Jazz, Orchestral, and Rudimental styles. The luckiest part of my education was that I went to Lynbrook High School, which had the top concert band in the California. This is where I learned to play concert and orchestra music, and I learned about style, and musicianship.

I have been a guitar and voice instructor for over 15 years. I really love this job! I had a real hard time learning guitar when I was growing up because of an accident to my left arm, but I wanted to play so much that I was able to overcome it. Because of this I think I have learned to be a very patient teacher. I see students who get frustrated and think that it's too hard to play the guitar, but I promise you my program is fun and simple.I can show you the steps to success. I have taught over 500 students in a variety of cities from Minneapolis Minnesota, to Los Angeles California, and now Portland Oregon. I am currently obtaining my Masters in Music education from Marylhurst, and I have taught every age from 5-65.
