I offer a fun, interactive teaching style that encompasses more than 20 years of performing and 15 years of teaching experience. As a performer I have worked as a professional singer, actor, musician, and dancer. I have always had a passion for teaching, directing, and composing. While my love for performing has lessened over the years, I have found my true calling: teaching, directing, and helping others to find their passion for music and the performing arts.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a special emphasis in music, theatre, dance, and psychology. I am a graduate candidate working on completing my thesis as my final requirement for a Masters of Arts degree in Music at San Diego State University.

I have over 4 years of experience instructing people of all ages in guitar and trombone! I have over 7 years of experience playing in groups with trombone and also have played in many projects as a guitarist. I can teach a variety of styles and specialize in genres like Blues, Rock, Reggae, Ska, and more! I individualize my lessons to let you guys learn what you want to learn! I implement music theory and learning techniques along with learning songs and song writing to help you create your own music!

I will teach you how to play like nobody else! I've been playing guitar for 12+ years and am a certified sound recordist who has made his living recording for the last four years. I can not only show you how to play like your favorite rockstars but also teach you the fine art of recording a professional demo to share with your friends, fans, and family.

Over the course of my musical career, I have had the opportunity to learn from many musicians. From University Professors to Street Corner Musicians, I have gathered much knowledge on how to play music. Applying that knowledge to my guitar playing has opened up many doors of opportunity and has made my life very interesting. One of my talents is to take complicated ideas and convey them in easy to understand ideas for my students. I now wish to share all my knowledge and experiences with you to enjoy a life of music.
Students of mine have been able to create their own music to record and perform. Ensembles that I have directed have performed at many local venues. I have also invited students to join me at my performances to help them become more confident in their playing.

I have been teaching guitar professionally since 2001 and performing professionally since 1994.

I have been studying the guitar and bass for the last 30 years. While I studied music in college, I began to teach the guitar. After I completed my associates degree at Fullerton college in southern California, I went on to study and get my B.A. degree from Eugene Lang College, The New School for Social Research in New York City. I have always performed with music groups and ensembles - right now I play in flamenco duet, Two jazz groups and a blues band. I love to teach music and enjoy passing on the craft to those who enjoy music as well.

I have been performing/writing music all of my life. I started as a boy living in New England playing clarinet, piano, trumpet, guitar and bass. In my teens I focused on working with other musicians and formed musical groups that have performed all over the world, American styles of music such as Blues, Country, Rock and Jazz both standards and originals. If you are like me you hear music in your head, This is the music I strive to help bring out of my students, if you don't hear music in your head keep after it you will eventually.

Zo is an ambitious musician from San Diego. Since he was a young child, he always had a fascination with music. After picking up his first guitar, he realized that he wanted to take his passion in music to the next level and absorb as much music as possible. He formed a rock band with two of his close friends and finally got the experience of what it was like to play in a band. This caused him to make the decision to study music while going to college since he truly wanted to do something he enjoyed. So, he enrolled in the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music of California State University Long Beach where he majored in a Jazz Performance Guitar degree. Through his experience here, he met many musicians to learn from and play with. While at school, he was receiving guitar lessons from two of the top guitarists in the Los Angeles area, Ron Eschete and Michael Higgins. I am 26 years old and moved out to California about 2 years ago from Wisconsin. I have been playing music mainly the guitar since I was 15 and fell in love with it ever since. I have been teaching students about music and how to play the guitar since I was 20 and have had great success in seeing many of my pupils still playing in bands today. I love to play all types of music from Rock and Roll to the Blues to Folk and also Modern Pop songs of today. I teach many styles like finger-picking, strumming, hammer strumming etc. I am laid back and love to see my student's success as they learn a craft that is so important to me.
