Kortnee is a fabulous teacher! She came into our home and taught my 9 and 11-year old daughters piano once a week. Both girls thrived and looked forward to their lessons. The progress they made in one year with Kortnee was impressive. We have moved out of state and the biggest regret is that we can't find another piano teacher like Kortnee. We miss her and her enthusiasm for teaching music. Best instructor ever!

Kortnee is amazing!!

I actually take both piano and flute from Kortnee. Her energy is contagious and she knows many styles of music. She is always ready to support what I want/need to do and can give me a tip within minutes that will help me forever. I can puzzle over a phrase or mood, and she will immediately "get it". She loves to see me have fun, and loves to help me over the rough spots.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Excellent Teacher!

Mr. Keene is a remarkable piano teacher. My son did not want to take piano lessons but Mr. Keene inspired him to play the piano and play it well. My son has been with Mr Keene for just a few months and my son's piano playing has greatly improved. I was worried about having a teacher go too slow though the books and lessons but Mr. Keene has worked at a great pace and moved my son along adequately and he has learned so much. I am very impressed. He is very knowledgable and we highly recommend Mr. Keene for piano!

very unprofessional. I was not late, but instead went to the wrong apartment. Instead of asking if I was running late or got lost, he sent me a riddle about being late: "To be early is to be one time. To be on time is to be late. To be late is to be in trouble." I'm an adult, I don't need to be told i'm in trouble. Rubbed me the wrong way.

I do not have much experience in acting but I do enjoy doing impersonations (of people I know and various notable people) and reenactments of various movie scenes. Given my years of immersion of the human condition, I can help you develop as an actor by giving you honest feedback on anything you are working on or would like to work on. I am confident in my ability to discern what is natural and what is forced. Help me help you! :)

If you have any questions, please, ask!

About Andrew

I have experience tutoring students as well as working with individuals individually and in groups, as an undergrad intern, a cognitive skills trainer, and a counseling student. As an undergrad intern, I worked with elementary school children as a tutor and a mentor. As a counseling student, I have worked with various populations, from children to adults to older adults in hospice care, as well as individuals suffering from a mental illness. This diversity has given me an all around kind of perspective when it comes to working with individuals and has especially helped me further develop my creativity.

My approach is one that is peculiar to the individual. As an auto-didactic learner, I believe that everyone has their own way of learning; therefore, after gaining an ...
