This option is available for music students who demonstrate a stronger interest in music than in language arts. The option is designed to assist students with the understanding or completion of schoolwork. Creative methods, most easily understood by arts' students are used to reintroduce information that is often not mastered in class.

Fantastic Teacher!!

Candace is amazing! I came to her wanting to learn the fundamentals of singing and she has gone far beyond my expectations. She is patient, and truly believes in me even when I feel as if I cannot do it. She is the best teacher I have ever come across and I couldn't ask for anything better!

My Lessons with Ms. C Changed Everything

All I knew when I first started was that I wanted to be famous. She helped me to identify my goals and she literally put me on a path to reach them. My confidence was definitely boosted because we attacked every insecurity head on and now there aren't any. I also learned how to process and use my nervous energy working with her. She's amazing! I've had lessons with some teachers who were a bit stiffer but we really went in deep and it was exactly what I needed.

I am passionate about Music and Music Education. It's rewarding for me to watch my students develop in their musical skill and enjoy making music more and more. I have a Music Education degree from the University of Florida; my major instrument was Voice, my minor was Piano. I taught as a public school music educator ...

Julie is the BEST!! I took lessons as a child, but had not taken any lessons in over 10 years when I first began lessons with Julie. Almost immediately she was able to help me recall everything I had learned when I was younger. Very knowledgeable and encouraging, makes each lesson a joy! Highly recommended for those who are serious about learning the piano (or anything else I'm sure!).

Great Motavator!!

Julie is our first experience with a piano teacher. She has been instructing my somewhat shy 6 year old for about 9 months now. She is amazing with my daughter. She is very encouraging and stays right on her level while pushing her to expand her knowledge in music. I couldn't be more pleased in our first experience. Julie even had my daughter performing in front of an audience just 4 months after her first lesson. A memory my child will have forever.

Lourdes was my singing coach for well over two years. With her, I not only learned how to sing but also a great deal about music, writing, philosophy and more. When I first started taking lessons with her, I had only wanted to sing. However, through working with her I was convinced to set my bar much higher. After working with her on the basics, I decided to go back to school to study music. With her continued tutelage and advice throughout this endeavor I have been able to not only meet expectations in an entirely new field but achieve notable academic success. Thanks in large part to her support, I am now gearing up to go to grad school and have been offered a GTA position with The University of Arizona's School of music. With Lourdes, I got so much more than just a voice coach. I ended up meeting a vibrant and brilliant individual who could help refine not only my musical abilities, but also my academic and professional skills. In whatever domain you intend to seek Lourdes' services, you will be pleasantly surprised to find yourself sitting with a true expert.

What I found the greatest part of her services was her continued focus on excellence. Strangely, this became the most challenging aspect of our work together as well. Lourdes encouraged me to push the envelope in directions I had never expected, but now the world seems like a place full of opportunity. My work with her can best be described as a crucible, from which I emerged far more capable and well-rounded than I had thought possible. If you're looking for more than just another tutor or coach, I can recommend no individual more motivating, energetic, capable and all around excellent than Lourdes C.

Eliza is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and patient ballet teacher. She has taught company class for my professional ballet company, and was well received by the other dancers. Her classes are technical and she adapts to the level of dancers in the studio. I would highly recommend Eliza for a ballet teacher in a private or group setting.

I have trained ballet at different studios and with different teaches for the past few years, until I finally met Elizabeth. She is an amazing dancer, with plenty of knowledge and experience.

I truly enjoy her classes, which are very demanding, fun and helpful. Elizabeth is an incredible hands-on teacher, who breaks down techniques and movements in a very granular and understandable way.

Elizabeth helped me discover things about my body and ballet techniques in a way that no other teacher has done in the past.

After only a few classes with her, I was able to finally understand and perform techniques that had always appeared difficult to me, such as executing double pirouettes. Now I can finally do it and I’m thrilled about it!

I cannot express all my gratitude to Elizabeth. I highly recommend her classes if you are really interested in mastering the fundamentals of ballet.

I am so glad that I found Elizabeth as an instructor. She is very knowledgeable, has great technique, and is extremely fun to work with.

As an adult beginner, I found some of the ballet classes in the city very intimidating. I decided to sign up and take ballet lessons with Elizabeth and she has really helped me to improve form, flexibility, and working knowledge of the different ballet terms.

Here are some of the traits in her instruction which I really find helpful:

Patience - Elizabeth is extremely patient and will spend the time to make sure you understand concepts and technique. It's so refreshing to see how positive she is and it makes me only want to work even harder. Also, she is always making sure you are doing things to prevent injury.

Knowledge / Technique - Elizabeth is a great dancer. She is very knowledgeable of the French terms used in ballet as well as very technical in terms of form. She gives positive corrections and will usually help guide you through the different combinations. In addition, she will ask to make sure you are comfortable before moving onto something new. This goes back to her patience and her goal of really making sure you understand everything.

FUN! - Elizabeth is so fun! Time flies by so fast in this class. I almost can't get enough! It's also great because she dances with you and works with you through some of the combinations. Again, she's super positive so I'm really comfortable working with her and asking for clarification.

Fitness - It's really important that people practice what they preach and Elizabeth is no exception. She's very fit as a dancer and you can tell this is what she has been doing for a long time. It's also really great motivation to see how strong she is!

Comfort - I think something that is often overlooked in terms of instruction is actually how comfortable you feel in the class and with the instructor. Her private lessons are really tailored to you and she will work with you through whatever goals you would like.

Overall five stars! Since taking private lessons with her, I really can't think of a better person to work with since she is extremely fun, helpful, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her to someone who really wants to learn ballet or someone who is already a dancer but wants to improve their technique.
