Cory is an awesome teacher!

I've studied with Cory for 4 years now, and I just want everyone to know what a great teacher Cory is. I've not only developed immensely in my musical skill, but I've also noticed when I'm working with other musicians that my studies have really set me apart from my peers. Cory has an awesome recording studio with all the professional stuff you'd come to expect in a major studio, Protools HD, Logic 9, a great Mic Pre & Compressor, along with an awesome tube Mic for recording great vocals. I've known Cory for 14 years now, and he's a lot of fun to work with and learn from. I've also been to many of his gigs, and I can assure you he's an awesome performer. Glenn

Guitar
Cory taught my daughter to play guitar when no one else could!

Cory M is a multi-talented sweetheart of a man.
He’s been a great guitar teacher for my daughter, who has gained knowledge of sight reading and classical guitar while learning to play the folk/indie/classic rock she most enjoys. It’s to Cory’s credit that she’s stuck with these lessons through all the other activities she’s taken up and abandoned.
Cory is also a highly skilled performer and recording artist. I’ve enjoyed listening and dancing to his band playing old favorites and original compositions. He creates CDs of his music and records other artists in an impressive-looking home recording studio – and on top of all this, he’s a great cook and a kind-hearted, generous neighbor. We’re fortunate to have him as a member of our community.

Piano
I'm a big fan!

I'm a professional musician, and I entrusted both of my sons to Cory M, and have also recommended him widely to my friends......he gave both of my boys a solid foundation in piano, and when my second one chose guitar, the transition was very smooth. They each started when they were 6 - Cory is great with kids that age, and by the time they started in the school bands, they were well prepared to dive right in.
Cory is an actively working musician and composer, which makes it fun for the kids, and gives them a view on how the material they are studying functions in the real world. He also maintains a high quality home studio, opening up the opportunity for students to gain experience in that realm.
I'm a big fan.

We Love Mr. Joe!!!

Joe is very patient with my daughter. He truly wants her to learn and understand what she is learning and most of all to enjoy music. He goes at her pace while still encouraging her to set goals for herself. He will not move forward until she has mastered what she has learned.

Mr. Joe's passion for music reflects in his teaching!!

Music teacher that motivates his students.

My daughter has taken group and individual music lessons with Jose for three years. He is a teacher that meets students at their instructional level and motivates them to give their best effort in their learning. He also encourages my daughter with singing; he gives her vocal lessons in addition to guitar and piano. Jose also offers my daughter a safe learning environment. As a parent of a teenager, I greatly appreciate his patience with my daughter.

My fifteen year-old grandson decided to take up violin this summer. He has made such progress, and it is due in large part to Connie's positive methods of teaching--noticing what is right, and gently correcting what needs improvement. She is expert, analytical, kind and calm--what a combo!

Miranda is an excellent violinist and also has the skill of teaching! I have enjoyed working with her over the last few months and as an adult beginner I feel that I have made much progress. She recommends books and has even given me "take-aways" for my at home practice. I look forward to working with her throughout my musical career and recommend her to those who are new or who want to expand their musical talents. She calm, collected and comfortable to learn from and genuinely cares about her students.

Michelle P. Gardena, CA

My very first official music instruction was the violin. I began violin in third grade and loved my music teacher (we're still friends!). I played violin in elementary school through 8th grade and switched to cello in high school, although I tried my best to keep in touch with it as I grew. In college I observed violin master classes in both performance and Alexander Technique, and I after I graduated, I started practicing and taking lessons again, using what I learned from my friends and faculty at the conservatory. I can teach up to Suzuki level 4.

Michelle primarily teaches all levels of cello, music theory, intermediate viola, violin, bass, and beginning piano and guitar.
