Students are expected to be prepared for their lessons. Practice time should not be mandated. A motivated student will be eager to practice without being told. However, parents can encourage them to practice and encourage a consistent practice time. Lessons will be designed to stimulate learning music, understanding the principles of child's instrument, and establish confidence in the child's performance.
