I teach young children via the Suzuki method which emphasizes a step by step approach to learning the instrument and also includes a parent in learning along side the student. The parent becomes the teacher in the home environment and is a student during the lesson. For adults I offer fiddling or classical instruction and coaching.

I added guitar, guitar variants such as ukulele, cuatro, and tiple, and percussion during my Masters degree in Ethnomusicology at U.T. Austin and began teaching world music, piano, and theory at L.A.
