Jill graduated from SDSU in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Music degree in Vocal Performance. She has been studying voice for 10 years now, and also grew up playing violin, viola, and piano since age 8. Jill currently maintains a multi-faceted career as a classically-trained soprano soloist, choir director, and private music instructor. She hopes to achieve a Masterʼs degree in Speech Pathology within the next few years, and has a passionate and serious commitment to teach healthy singing and piano technique to students of all ages!

I grew up in a musical home with a piano teacher for a parent. Consequently, I started learning piano and singing at a young age, and then began taking voice lessons in high school. For the last 15 years I have been studying voice and loving every minute of it! I am a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and Music Teacher's Association of California. I have a bachelor's degree in music education from Bob Jones University, and a master's degree in Vocal Performance from Azusa Pacific University. I also studied for 2 summers during college with a master teacher. Over the years I have performed and worked with both children's choirs and adult choirs and given private concerts. My enthusiasm for music has spilled over into a love for teaching. I have taught private voice lessons for the last 5 years to students ranging in age from 8 to 50+. During the past 11 years, Stacey has worked with students ranging from age 5 to 75 teaching classical, musical theater, Christian, and pop music. She accepts students of all ages, styles, and levels. Her students learn through vocal exercises, ear training, song, and performance techniques. Students also learn how to keep their voices healthy and are encouraged to participate in performing venues outside of lessons. The opportunity to compete in NATS competitions is an option for all students who fulfill the requirements.

After teaching in New York and Ohio, Stacey held a teaching position at American River College and operated her private voice studio in Sacramento, California for 6 years. She recently relocated to San Diego where she maintains her private voice studio. Francesca has over 20 years of experience polishing her guitar talents. While working towards her BA in Music Education and English, she carried a full teaching roster with over 30 students and still managed a 4.0 GPA from Cal State University at Los Angeles. Francesca's musical dexterity has taken her touring in four continents and has allowed her to perform with some of the most prestigious artists in the industry, including the Donald Briniger Singers, her own pop/rock bands Minor Setback and Franki and the Ntelegents, and even playing the banjo in The Three Penny Opera.

Francesca started teaching music at the early age of 16 with great success. My name is Kristen F. I am a private voice instructor in the San Diego area. I work from my home studio with students of all ages. I am a graduate of Westminster Choir College, which has a world-renowned music program. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Voice Primary, Piano Secondary. I have extensively studied vocal technique, music theory, and music teaching, and have been trained in Classical, Musical Theater, and Popular music styles.

I offer a fun, interactive teaching style that encompasses more than 20 years of performing and 15 years of teaching experience. As a performer I have worked as a professional singer, actor, musician, and dancer. I have always had a passion for teaching, directing, and composing. While my love for performing has lessened over the years, I have found my true calling: teaching, directing, and helping others to find their passion for music and the performing arts.

An international performing artist, Rebecca H. has most recently performed in Italy with the 2010 Tuscia Opera Festival in Cosi fan tutte as Fiordiligi, along with various recitals and concerts in the San Diego area. Rebecca was also on the faculty of the festival, teaching voice and Italian lessons to the American students who come over to participate. She has also sung concerts and recitals in New York City, London, Edinburgh, Rome and Perugia, Italy as well as locally here in California and Florida. Upcoming performances include Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with the Concert Opera of San Diego (June 2011) as well as the soprano soloist in the Mozart Coronation Mass (Sept. 2011) with Maestro Vignati in Carlsbad at the Fall Masterworks Concert at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.
