I have learned a great deal about sewing in the last 25 years some of which I hope to share with you. I hope to help you complete a professional looking, finished garment or pattern of your choice. You will feel more confident in all your future sewing endeavors. You will look at sewing with an eye that can figure things out with patience and perseverance and enjoy doing it.

About Heather

I have been sewing for about 25 years now . My ability and love for it has grown with each experience. I have gone to school for fashion design and worked in the garment industry. My main growing experience has been my self taught lessons which brought me to more sewing focused jobs. Since then I have worked privately with people, adults and kids , in their sewing pursuit . The classes I have available now will be focusing on the pattern of your choice which we will break down and create over a few lessons depending on the difficulty or how long it takes. I will also encourage you to do some work at home if the time allows. I will ask that you bring a pattern and the fabric to the first class so we can get right to work. Most importantly, let's have fun in the world of sewing!

Dylan H. Los Angeles, CA

I've been sewing for 11 years and make projects ranging from clothing to housewares. I've taken classes in design, construction, and pattern making. I have also taught class for beginner sewers. I stay up to date with trends and love to bring these designs to fruition!
My classes consist of basic techniques such as how to thread a machine and mastery of perfect seams. We could then move on to learn how to use a pattern. You must have your own sewing machine.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!
