About Me

That's what I do. I make my own soundtrack to life and I'd love to give you the tools to make your own personal soundtrack. I work on everything from Opera, Musical Theatre, and Pop to Country, Jazz and RnB. Whether you want to sing karaoke or make a career out of music, I can help you reach your goals and create your music!

I have been immersed in music since the age of 5. Singing along to the radio and cassette tapes that my mom listened to in the car. I started training as a singer during my freshman year in high school and have performed in numerous musicals, concerts, and operas since.

I feel that performance is an integral part of piano and vocal education and will make sure that my students are given ample opportunity to perform, whether it be at an Open Mic Night, or I arrange a recital or musical production to nurture each of my student's performance abilities.

About Me

An international performing artist, Rebecca H. has most recently performed in Italy with the 2010 Tuscia Opera Festival in Cosi fan tutte as Fiordiligi, along with various recitals and concerts in the San Diego area. Rebecca was also on the faculty of the festival, teaching voice and Italian lessons to the American students who come over to participate. She has also sung concerts and recitals in New York City, London, Edinburgh, Rome and Perugia, Italy as well as locally here in California and Florida. Upcoming performances include Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with the Concert Opera of San Diego (June 2011) as well as the soprano soloist in the Mozart Coronation Mass (Sept. 2011) with Maestro Vignati in Carlsbad at the Fall Masterworks Concert at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.

About Me

Francesca has over 20 years of experience polishing her guitar talents. While working towards her BA in Music Education and English, she carried a full teaching roster with over 30 students and still managed a 4.0 GPA from Cal State University at Los Angeles. Francesca's musical dexterity has taken her touring in four continents and has allowed her to perform with some of the most prestigious artists in the industry, including the Donald Briniger Singers, her own pop/rock bands Minor Setback and Franki and the Ntelegents, and even playing the banjo in The Three Penny Opera.

Francesca started teaching music at the early age of 16 with great success. She was on the faculty at California Music Academy, Cornelia Connelly High School, Pasadena Saturday Music Conservatory, and Sawday and Holmes Music and she has taught classrooms of up to 70 choir students. About Me

I grew up in a musical home with a piano teacher for a parent. Consequently, I started learning piano and singing at a young age, and then began taking voice lessons in high school. For the last 15 years I have been studying voice and loving every minute of it! I am a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and Music Teacher's Association of California. I have a bachelor's degree in music education from Bob Jones University, and a master's degree in Vocal Performance from Azusa Pacific University. I also studied for 2 summers during college with a master teacher. Over the years I have performed and worked with both children's choirs and adult choirs and given private concerts. My enthusiasm for music has spilled over into a love for teaching. I have taught private voice lessons for the last 5 years to students ranging in age from 8 to 50+. I love people of all ages. And I love helping them discover what beautiful things they can create, especially in the world of music. Music is such a powerful way to express ourselves, and I love helping others learn how to do this and really enjoy it.

I have played piano since I was three. When I was able to read at age four, I began lessons, and the rest is history. I graduated from Wheaton Conservatory of Music with a degree in Piano Performance, and completed a Master's degree in Piano Performance at University of Redlands. I love to perform, have written several songs, with and without lyrics, produced three CD's all with original music I perform, and am now in the process of writing a musical. I love seeing people get touched with music and love to create and help others perform music that really speaks to the heart. It's my passion.
