My name is Lilah S. and I teach singing and speaking voice lessons from my home studio in San Diego, California. I have been singing since I could first speak and I do solo work and participate in multiple choirs around San Diego. One of the wonderful things about teaching voice lessons in San Diego is that everyone has a unique voice and I am privileged to hear these different voices. I also get to help students by equipping them with the tools and techniques to improve their voice; whether it is building on the musical knowledge they already have or starting from the beginning.
I have had students tell me that singing is relaxing and meditative and that they are so glad they have brought singing into their lives. I have also had students tell me that by becoming more comfortable with their singing voice they have also become more comfortable with themselves as a whole.
I also teach speaking voice lessons. By helping students to access their breath, utilize their breath more efficiently and articulate words more clearly, students are able to obtain a speaking voice that is more confident and one that allows them to communicate better with others.
