I'm Dale! 26 years old from San Antonio TX. I've spent 2 years studying for my Associates of Arts in Performance for Percussion at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. I started playing drums when I was 7 years old, playing bongos during church. I marched on my high school's line all 4 years of school (snare two years, tenors two years) and marched a season of DCI indoor drumline in San Antonio. Since then I've been in numerous bands in Texas, recorded multiple EP's and played hundreds of venues including the White Rabbit in San Antonio, Texas, The Vibe in Austin, Texas, to The House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. I have a passion to the drumline/drum corps approach to drumming, since most of my speed, technique and endurance came from marching, but also appreciate, teach, and love every single style on the drum kit.

Once we're warm, we'll move to getting that full, solid sound out of the drum set. Focusing again on technique (behind the kit now) and basic patterns to work on getting a great sound. We'll finish up by playing/jamming to your songs of choice, or ...
The first instrument I taught myself was drums, so helping others learn is very special to me. Materials used during drum lessons include the Hal Leonard publications The Visual Drumset Method and Drum Aerobics.
Hello and thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Felipe Garcia and I am a self-taught music teacher. I began teaching music in 2010 and have loved it ever since. I believe learning to play music can be fun and easy, and I work hard to make sure your experience with music is one that will inspire you to keep playing for the rest of your life, for as Friedrich Nietzsche said, “without music, life would be a mistake.” My experience with music began long ago when I begged my parents to buy me a drumset and they finally gave in and bought me one when I was 14. Prior to that, I had no real experience with music except as a listener. I taught myself how to play by playing along with CDs of my favorite bands and eventually I felt like the drums wasn't enough, so I talked my parents into ...

i've been playing the drums and drum-set for about 6 years as well. I started in high school and haven't stopped since.
I am twenty years old with about a decade of music experience. My preferences and techniques include jazz, metal, and punk. I went to a private high school here in San Antonio, and there i expanded my musical knowledge on my own. I have had a year of private lessons when i was 15 and i have been teaching myself since. I have taught to children (ages 5-13) and my own brother and friends have learned something from me.
