About Ronald

I am an experienced professional with a background in music performance, education, composition, theory and arranging. *** Lesson Details *** Few musicians or music students have identical goals, musical interests or physical size. So, It is NECESSARY to customize the course of study to meet student requirements. There are common issues for any serious pursuit of learning involving the guitar; right and left hand technique, fingerboard knowledge, chord knowledge, reading and interpretation. However, to progress, it is also necessary for the student to practice daily. I try to maintain a healthy balance between the focus on performance and technical issues. *** Studio Equipment *** 16 Channel Mixer for Recording and Playback 16 Channel Audio Interface for Recording and Playback

The best teacher I've ever had...

My learning experience with Ron has been great! I'm truly getting to know my instrument and what it takes to be a good musician. The lessons are designed to my specific needs and cover the full spectrum of musicianship. I'm confident that with Ron's guidance and routine practice, I'll finally be the guitarist/bassist I always wished to be.

Thanks!

I teach beginning through intermediate bass guitar. We'll work on bass lines to great songs, as well as how to create your own bass lines

About Dave

In my teaching practice, I've taught kids as young as 5, on up through adults. Part of my teaching philosophy is that the student needs to have fun regardless of what the topic is, so I have a very light-hearted approach. My teaching also has to be flexible because every one of my students has different strengths, and I structure my approach according to those strengths. I'm new to this website, so I don't have many reviews at the moment through this website. But, rest assured, I have many good reviews on other parts of the web. Come back soon, as I hope to update this page soon. If you have any questions, please contact me. I look forward to working with you! Dave L. PS For those that are interested, here's my performance background: I have been playing guitar for ...

About Daniel

Graduated from Georgia Southern in 2001, with a bachelor degree in music education. Have worked for Atlanta public schools as a band director since Fall 2002. Private lessons are taught on piano, guitar, and all the band instruments. I also have a deep passion for Disc jockeying with a bias towards reggae and dance music. *** Lesson Details *** Students can except a stress free learning process. After learning the basic symbols of music notation, breathing, and simple rhthyms the students will continue learning the techniques and fingerings on their chosen intsrument. I have played bass professionally, with various bands, and can teach many styles, including, rock, pop, jazz, and blues.

I treat each student as an individual, and vary my teaching methods to meet the needs, learning styles and preferences of the student.

About Linda

*** Travel Equipment *** I do not typically provide any equipment - but I am willing to select and purchase books for the students to learn from (cost of books to be reimbursed by the student/parent) when requested to do so. I am also willing to provide stick-on note-names for the keyboard, for young children. The students must have their own instruments, music stand, paper and pencil, and provide a folder for sheet music and notes/instructions. *** Specialties *** On guitar, I specialize in the following styles: jazz, rock, blues, folk, bluegrass, and children's songs. Piano: I prefer electronic keyboard to acoustic piano, but am happy to teach beginning students on a regular piano as well. I teach note-reading, playing by ear, and theory. When using an electronic keyboard, I

Bass guitar is very similar to guitar in theory, but it is approached in a different manner. After playing in many bands I have learned the nuances of bass playing by having to fill in on occasion. As a writer myself, I have created many baselines for original music

Highly recommended teacher

I am in my mid-30s and picking up Mandolin for the first time without much background in music. Scott has been really great to learn from, teaching me not only the basics of scales and chords but he also has me working on songs and solos which I never thought I'd be able to do so early. I would highly recommend Scott.

Amazing teacher

My son has been taking guitar lessons from Scott for the last year. Scott has been amazing with him. Scott finds music that challenges and teaches my son while keeping his attention. My son loves the lesson each week. He looks forward to it. Scott has become more than a Guitar Teacher he has become a family friend.

Very knowledgeable and willing to do the research if you present with a new challenge. I have been a singer most of my life, with only limited training. I had reached a point where my voice was failing. She has helped me to reconstruct my approach to singing and has saved my voice. I am in my 40's but am now singing better and more consistently that I have at anytime in my life! Highly Recommended!

Sasha is awesome! I'm 18 and I've been taking guitar and voice lessons from Sasha for several months now and I've improved way more than I expected. She really listens to her customers and tailors the lessons to each individual. I choose which songs I want to learn each week, and she teaches me exactly what I want to know. Couldn't have asked for a better instructor--I'm so pleased with all she's helped me accomplish.

Sasha gave beginning acoustic guitar lessons to our 11 year old daughter in our home. Our daughter can be very shy at first, Sasha did a fantastic job communicating with her, encouraging her, building her confidence and practice skills, working with music that my daughter knows and likes. Highly recommended!
