Susanne received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Michigan with honors. For 11 years she taught as a Professor of Vocal Music for the College of Fine Arts with Western Michigan University and for 2 years as a Vocal Music Instructor for Northwest Bible University in Kirland, WA . She taught vocal music classes at the University of Washington during her doctoral studies and has over 25 years experience teaching private voice students from the ages of 15 to 70. Teaching the finer techniques of singing is her passion. "As a teacher, I thrive on helping students achieve their musical goals. A passion for music is always the first thing! I love music and I love helping others realize their love for music. Being able to walk in front of any crowd, whether it's the steering wheel, 10 people or 10,000 people, and confidently perform a craft you have worked so hard to master is one of the most gratifying experiences for any musician. In addition, I know that the music industry can be a confusing world to try and navigate on your own. Helping you find a road map to your dream is the greatest thing that anyone can give you. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Contemporary Vocal Performance at the University of Colorado Denver in 2009. I graduated summa cum laude (with highest honors) and won the Outstanding Graduate award from the College of Arts & Media. I even sang the National Anthem at my own graduation, in front of thousands of other graduates and their families, an honor usually reserved for faculty.

While earning my degree, I specialized in singing, songwriting and the recording arts. I also professionally competed in an honors a cappella group. During this time, I took a great deal of leadership and learned how to assist choir directors in warming up and teaching new vocal materials to large groups of students.

Hello! My Name is David and I'm here to share my experiences and love of music with you! I had my first solo performance at age 9, joining a local boys choir shortly thereafter. My first local touring experience was at with that choir at 10 years old. At age 12, I started doing Musical Theatre. At 15, I went on my first European tour with my High School Choir, and knew this was without a doubt what I had to do with my life, so I began private voice and piano lessons. After years of involvement in as much Music and Theatre I could get my hands on, I attended Cornish College of the Arts, where I received my Bachelor of Music in 2006.

At Cornish I studied a year of Classical Voice, but most of my time was spent as independent major, splitting my studies between Vocal Performance and Composition. I am an actor/singer/dancer who has worked professionally in NYC, Chicago, MN and Seattle over the past 17 years. I have a BFA in Musical Theatre from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and completed Advanced Training at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in NYC. Some of my favorite roles include performing in 'A Narrow Bed' (Wings Theatre, NYC), dancing alongside Smashmouth (Radio City Music Hall, NYC) and playing “Benten” in the World Premiere of 'The Kyogen Rope' (O’Malley Theatre, Chicago). I also direct theatre. Some of my favorite directing credits include 'I Hate Hamlet' (Knutzen Family Theatre), 'If Spiders Made Honey' (Burien Little Theatre), and 'A Very Lovely Dress' (Stone Soup Theatre). Julia began playing the trumpet at age 11 in her middle school band. She found her real passion was singing, so she began training with a voice coach, playing piano, and performing in musical theatre productions.

In 2004 Julia entered the School of Music and Theatre Arts at Washington State University. She studied voice and piano and was an avid performer in the WSU Library Atrium Recital Series. She was cast in 6 productions of the school's Opera Workshop Series including "Jane Eyre," "Naughty Marietta" and "Der Freitschutz." She also played her trumpet in the Cougar Marching Band for 2 seasons. Julia taught private voice and piano lessons from her studio during college until she graduated in May, 2010.
