I want to share with you the skills it takes to play a simple song the very first lesson! We can then take it from there down any of the wonderful musical paths you choose, from playing for your own enjoyment, for your friends & family, all the way up to a crowd of thousands! I can show you how & why music works in an easy to understand way, & make it possible for you to continue on your own musical journey well equipped. I have taught all ages & styles of music on many instruments for many decades & never tire of sharing the joy of playing & understanding a musical instrument.

Music has been an integral part of my world, playing a major role in both my personal and professional life. I embrace the chance to be immersed in it, to share my enthusiasm for and expertise in the area of the music education experience, promoting creative development and student performance skills.

I am an original New Yorker, but have lived in Virginia Beach for the past 12 years. I began studying piano at the age of 8 and have not stopped playing since. It is a gift and a joy to be able to share my love of music performance with people of all ages and abilities. I have also sung in many choirs in addition to performing professionally on the piano and the guitar, both as a soloist and ensemble member.

I rejoice in the success that I see in my students as they learn and gain appreciation for the gift of music. They become more and more eager to share and more and more open to the possibilities ahead.

I love music and I love to teach! My first experiences with music instruction were incredibly positive and since then I have wanted to pass that experience on to others. I have spent four years teaching privately with great success. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching to pair with my Bachelor's of Music in Music Education. My experience has benefited each of my students in unique ways and I look forward to working with you!
