I have been singing since the age of four! I am a native of Miami Beach Florida. I started performing in church and school where my passion for performing were developed. Having come from such a background I was privileged with a well rounded musical tastes, from Gospel in church Classical in school, and Reggae, Pop, Rock, and R&B from her parents. With four wonderful years of musical teaching experience, I share my gifts and talents with those who too want to express themselves through music. I believe music is worldwide language and so do not intend to stifle any students individual style or sound with technique. Instead I allow the student to take the lessons and techniques learned and together we find ways to adapt to that style so that their best 'musical picture' is heard.
Apart from teaching, I enjoy singing at my own gigs, doing backgrounds for other artists, and working on new music for production in the studio. I have produced my debut album in 2007 and have released two new singles marketed to the Caribbean/reggae/Latin genre. I got my bachelors degree in 2009 from Florida Atlantic University for Fine Arts. I have taken voice lessons, being in multiple productions, and had a lifelong passion for this profession. I lived in Los Angeles for two and a half years pursuing my dream. I moved back to South Florida a year ago to be with family and friends and to try to conquer my dreams here. I have not only a passion for acting but also for teaching. I am patient with kids of all ages and very social. I can teach a lot in a short period of time. My goal is to get everyone as passionate as I am and to see that anything is possible.
Helene grew up in Bara, a small village outside of Malmo, at the southern tip of Sweden.
At a very early age Helene showed signs of being a performer and enjoyed being the center of attention. With 2 older brothers, Michael, 8 years older and Patrik, 5 years older, there was no lack of attention.
Helene’s grandfather was a very well respected violinist, holding 1st violin chair at Malmo Stadsteater for over 30 years. In addition, her grandmother was known to have a beautiful voice. Helene considers them a major influence.
Helene pursued every performance opportunity she got growing up, both in school and outside of school.
At the age of 10 she joined a church choir that traveled the country to do performances. This is where she learned the basic techniques of singing.
