Tough to remember a time in my life before some sort of musical training, starting with the private guitar lessons twelve years ago. Since then I've made my way around Los Angeles playing mandolin with Bluegrass, Folk Rock, and Celtic groups as well as solo and chamber classical repertoire in the university setting on both mandolin and guitar. I'm currently studying in the MAP program at CalArts, designed for multi-instrumentalists, and hope to pass on the passion for music that was instilled in me through those weekly lessons I took growing up.

I earned a Masters degree in jazz guitar at the respected Netherlands ARTEZ Conservatory. Post-graduation, I played all over Europe including Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Poland, and owned and operated his recording studio TRINIX STUDIO in the Netherlands. Since 2011 I am living in the US, working as studio and live musician and running my home studio in Venice Beach.

Guitarist since age 7, guitar is my life passion.
I started out learning songs by the Beatles and Elvis Presley and playing in Rock n' Roll Bands. By Middle school I was playing jazz. I was awarded the "Most Outstanding Jazz Guitarist" award at Crossroads school for arts and sciences. I was also invited to play at the Grammy Foundation "Benefit for Keeping the Blues Alive" in 2006.
In 2008 I began an education in Jazz Guitar performance at California Institute of the Arts.
I left the program after a year in order to pursue my own music career which was blossoming outside of the classroom.
I have been playing professionally and teaching ever since.

I was born and raised in Montana and have a Bachelors of Music emphasis in Vocal Performance from the University of Montana. I have taught students ages 7-25 genres from classical to broadway to rock and everything in between. I have been in envolved in countless musical groups so I have learned from many instructors what the best methods for teaching are. I find teaching to be very rewarding for several reasons. It is very fulfilling to watch a student recognize their talent and become more and more excited to continue learning. It feels so good to know that I may have made even a small difference in someone’s musical development. Making a lasting impression on someone musically or in any other positive way is very satisfying.

Born and raised in Southwest VA, Jordan received his first guitar when he was 12 years old. By the time he was 13, he got his first electric guitar and by 15 he was playing in bands. After several years of teaching guitar and playing in bands in the area, he decided to further his musical education and moved to Los Angeles, CA. In 2010 Jordan moved to Hollywood to attend the Musicians Institute. While attending Musicians Institute he studied under some of the best musicians in the world including Paul Gilbert (Racer X, Mr. Big), Dale Turner (Solo artist, Guitar World Magazine columnist), Doug Rappaport (The Edgar Winter Band), among others. In 2012, Jordan graduated from the Musicians Institute with an Associate of Arts in Performance with a major in guitar. Since then he has been teaching guitar lessons in the Los Angeles area and is working on writing and recording his first solo album.

Brian discovered his talent and passion for teaching while still in college, and has been teaching guitar, piano and bass guitar in Southern California for over 20 years. Gifted at teaching students of all ages and abilities, he combines patience, creativity, imagination and boundless enthusiasm with solid professional training and experience. Brian also has over 10 years experience teaching piano and guitar to blind and autistic students.
