Great Experience!

Gabrielle has been teaching my son CJ for two years now and she is simply the best! Very patient, kind, and concerned that the student's love of music in not compromised by instilling confidence during each lesson. Thank you!

Good with children

Miss Gabby has been teaching my daughter piano for a few years, and she does so good with her. My daughter doesn't always have the best attention span, but Miss Gabby does well to redirect her and get her back on track. I absolutely recommend her for beginners and little ones. She has a very gentle and caring personality.

Melody works with me both on songwriting and singing. She is a dynamic instructor and really cares about each student. Melody works to build confidence of the student so that they can do with their music / singing what they dream of doing. I highly recommend Melody.

For years, I had been practicing with Brett Manning's Singing Success CDs. I wasn't really getting anywhere, yet I believed in the course. What I had been missing all those years was a real person with a masterful ear and experience, who could hear and understand "my" voice. I needed personal guidance that could identify exactly what I needed to work on and the correct approach.

When I found Melody, I was thrilled that she was a certified SLS instructor. However, as a 41 year-old male, I wondered if I needed a male instructor to better understand my voice, and also so that I could better understand the instructor's examples.

That concern was wiped away from day 1. She immediately pointed out that I wasn't doing the exercises correctly (even the ones that I thought were easy.) And her explanations and examples put me right on track.

I have 100% faith that Melody is going to help me transform my voice into the voice I have wanted for so long. There is steady improvement already, and I can't wait for each lesson, so that I can show her what I have worked on, and to learn more from her.

Don't pass her up! Her wealth of experience is hard to come by. I feel so lucky that I was able to get a lesson with her before her schedule was completely full!

Melody is amazing. I am picky when it comes to people coaching me and I honestly thought I would not find the right singing teacher. But after only 4 lessons I have to say that Melody is worth every penny. I have seen improvement in my singing already (I have never sang professionally before) and Melody is very patient, knowledgeable, and flexible. She expects you to work hard, but what good instructor wouldn't? You have to do your part and practice, and if you do, I guarantee you will see results.

Songwriting can be personal, introspective, comedic, commentary, etc. It is important to first understand what the artist is trying to do with his/her song before beginning. Then, a melody that is unique and relatively predictable must be established in order to gain the listeners interest and trust. Following that, lyrics must be constructed that does not insult the listeners intelligence, in other words, they must be poetic and the metaphors must be universal enough to be applicable to any listener.
