I grew up in music, and started playing the piano when I was 6 years old, and began composing and using Logic Pro two years after that. I have been playing saxophone for 8 years, and am currently working to gain my bachelors degree in music performance from California State University, Fullerton. During my saxophone instruction I also began learning clarinet as a supplementary instrument, and have been playing it for 3 years. Tenor and/or Alto Saxophone lessons for beginning, intermediate, and advanced players.
For Beginning Students: Students will learn to produce tones on the saxophone, read musical notation, and play simple melodies. Students will be introduced to basic music theory topics and establish healthy playing habits and technique.
For Intermediate Students: Emphasis will be placed on improving tone production and technical ability while being introduced to improvisational concepts through building a vocabulary of scales and chords.
For the Advanced Player: Focus is directed to technical ability, tone production, ear training, and improvisation.
