My name is Amy and I teach Voice, Piano, and Music Theory! I am originally from Racine/Milwaukee, WI and have been a musician since I was young. I believe music is a universal language that connects us all on a deeper level. There is something so pure, beautiful, and genuine in music. It has the capability to move us to tears, feel empowered, or even break out in laughter. Sharing and connecting with others is what music is all about. I have loved music my entire life and enjoy bringing my passion and expertise to my students! *** Lesson Details *** Taking lessons is a fun and exciting experience! However, learning to play an instrument (or sing) is not easy. It takes practice, focus, dedication, and hard work. We set up a plan at the beginning of lessons to ensure success! Lessons
I have a B.A. in English and over 20 years of professional writing and computer experience, including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and many other software applications, which I taught at a paralegal school. I have studied acting and improvisation and performed in both community theater and professionally, as well as on film. I have also studied art, with an emphasis on drawing and acrylic painting. I have converted many of my drawings to woodburnings, which have won awards at the Arizona State Fair. In addition, I have been crocheting and working with needlecrafts since the age of 12. I am very easy-going with a great sense of humor, which I believe is essential in order to make learning more enjoyable and memorable.
Crafting is a personal passion of mine and I love helping others discover their own gifts. Learn basic stitches, how to read patterns, and gauge stitches to complete a small project of your choosing.

"My daughter's wedding was weeks away and I had never been able to dance a step. With Jenny's help, I came further than ever before in such short time in any subject."
