Marjorie has taught beginners to advanced students of all ages in every vocal style including Opera, Classical, Musical Theatre, Pop, Jazz, Folk, Rock, R&B and Gospel at Hunter College, New York University, La Guardia Community College, The Learning Annex as well as her private vocal studio in NYC for the past 25 years.

Marjorie received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Georgia and a Special Studies Award in Voice and Opera from the Eastman School of Music. Marjorie has sung at Venice's Grand Teatro La Fenice, Carnegie Hall in NY, Rome's Teatro dell'Opera, Cagliari's Teatro Lirico and the New York Grand Opera.

She was the winner of the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition and a finalist in both the Enrico Caruso Voice Competition and McAllister Opera Awards Competitions. Recently she was featured on Channel 5 Good Day New York morning news program.

Stephen made his operatic debut in the title role of Gluck's Orfeo in Santa Barbara, CA. Other roles performed in the United States have been Oberon in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, the title role in John Eccles' The Judgement of Paris and Sesto in La Clemenza di Tito by Mozart. Among the roles sung in Europe were Orlolsky in Fledermaus, Bertarido in Rodelinda and Oberon in Sommernachtstraum. He has been a soloist in many Churches and Synagogues in the United States and Europe. Highlights have been Messiah, Elijah, St. Mathew Passion and Cantorial soloist for the Jewish High Holidays. He appeared in Summer Stock and played the guitar in a number of bands. Reviewers have cited Stephen's naturally full and warm timbre and his unforced agility.

Kristin has been teaching piano and voice for over ten years. Most recently she was on the faculty at the International Opera Center of America where she taught piano for singers. Kristin taught both group and private lessons at the MusicTime School in San Francisco, CA where she was best known for her innovative work combining fun activities with learning, creating an excitement for music in many young piano and voice students.

Kristin began her piano studies at the age of 3 and her vocal studies at 10. Kristin's most recent success as Florence Pike in the opera Albert Herring was produced by Maestro Lorin Maazel with the London Royal College of Music at Chateauville, VA. The company subsequently replicated some of the opera, in a concert version, with Marvin Hamlisch at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. I received my Bachelor of Music degree from New York University, and I am working on my Master of Music degree at Manhattan School of Music.

I have performed at many well-known venues including The Blue Note, The Jazz Gallery, The Bitter End, Sullivan Hall, The Garage, Caffe Vivaldi, Miles Cafe, and The Local 269 in New York City; Twins Jazz Club in Washington DC; Trumpets Jazz Club in Montclair NJ; and Chris' Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia.

Yuichi H. was born in Tokyo, Japan. His musical career started at age 10 when he performed marimba in a music recital. He started playing drum set at age 14 and joined a wind ensemble, a few rock bands, and a jazz big band. With some of these groups, he performed at several live music venues in Tokyo. In 1991, he composed the music and performed drums and percussion in a production of Othello, at The Globe Tokyo Panasonic Theater.
In the fall of 1991, with a full scholarship, he attended Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA. He studied jazz drums mainly with Joe Hunt and Jon Hazilla, and orchestral percussion with Dean Anderson. Also, he took many classes in jazz composition and arranging with Gregg Hopkins and Jeff Friedman. He was the recipient of "The Cuccinello Percussion Award" and the "Berklee Percussion Department Achievement Award." I am an enthusiastic accompanist, performer, and teacher, engaged in projects ranging from Early Baroque figured bass, to 20th-century classical chamber music, to Broadway and Folk. I currently teach Dalcroze Eurhythmics classes in Manhattan, an innovative approach to classroom music education that uses movement and the body to connect what the ears hears and the mind knows. As a pianist I have performed in Switzerland, England, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.

Music has been part of my life since the age of three. My first inspiration was my mother, who was a working singer in the 70's. My second inspiration and mentor was my High School Music Teacher, Mr. Wynn, and I am grateful for all he has taught me. I am passionate about teaching and would like to have the opportunity to be as inspirational to my students as Mr. Wynne was to me. As you can see from my resume below, I have been very active in performing and teaching. At the age of 37, I feel even stronger that the choice I made to make MUSIC my career was the absolute correct one. I believe in the Bible principle that it is better to give than to receive. Teaching is a major facet of music that allows me to do this.

I am a versatile singer and a passionate teacher who has been performing since the age of six. This year, I performed at Radio City Music Hall and at Carnegie Hall, and in past years I toured the country in a national production of The Wizard of Oz.

As the leading role in the Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), I had so much fun that I wanted to share the joy of music with others. I believe that teaching is the best way to pass along that gift---- and since then, I have continued to teach as many students as the styles I perform.

A graduate of the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Music and Psychology and a trained instructor from the renowned National Guitar Workshop, Adam is an experienced teacher and performer on the guitar, bass, and piano, and is well-versed in a variety of styles, including rock, pop, jazz, classical, and folk. Adam loves to share his passion for music with others, and ever since his first student, an autistic child, Adam has sought to make learning music fun, regardless of age, style, and ability. Before relocating to New York City, Adam organized and executed a recital for all of his students in Rochester, allowing the opportunity for his students to perform in a relaxed setting for their families and friends, and later distributed a DVD of the event to the students. Adam is exceptionally knowledgeable in a diverse array of styles and is eager to share his love for music with others.
