Sarah was born and raised in Los Angeles and has been involved in music and theater since a young age. She spent many of her early years performing in both school and church choirs, and was heavily involved in both theater and dance throughout high school. Sarah has played roles such as "Mrs MacAfee " in Bye Bye Birdie, "Nancy" in Oliver, and "Golde" in Fiddler on the Roof, as well as doing "extra word" for Zondervan, and Billy Gram films. She holds a B.A. in Voice from Biola University, and is currently working on a M.A. in Christian Education. While at Biola, Sarah performed with the Biola University Chorale for 5 years performing such works as, Mozart requiem, and Carmina Baurana. She has training in both classical and musical theater voice, and has been working with children and teens for the past 10 years.

Crystal brings a lifetime’s experience of professional musicianship to each of her lessons. Born into a family of musicians, she sang her first solo at age 2. She also benefits her students with an extraordinarily diverse musical background, having worked as a vocalist in gospel, country, musical theater, jazz, classical, rock, pop and soul styles. Her performing career has taken her from L.A. church meetings to London’s Houses of Parliament.

I am well-versed in nearly all music styles from classical to contemporary/pop. I am currently active in both piano accompaniment, vocal performance with the Pacific Chorale, and directing a very active north orange county community choir.

I recently completed my music credential and have graduate degrees in Education and Music.

I am especially gifted in teaching beginning piano, fundamental vocal production and dramatic presentation.

I am a graduate from CSU Northridge in vocal performance. I have studied under Judy Scott and Marvelee Cariaga. Singing for the past eight years, I have performed in many operas, musicals, opera scenes, chamber music ensembles, and recitals. As seasoned choral singer who has been performing in choirs for ten years, I was, most recently, a member of the 2003 Choir of the World winning ensemble Northridge Singers from 2008-2010. I teach voice in a number of different styles including: classical, musical theater, pop, and folk. I am also an experienced sight-reader, and can instruct singers in sight-singing and musicianship.

Stefani's musical talents were first observed at the age of 5, when she began private study of piano and music theory. She played the alto saxophone for a brief period of 4 years during junior high and early high school, but then moved on to join the school choir at age 16. This choice led to the unexpected discovery of a beautiful, powerful voice. Stefani earned a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre at the University of Tulsa, with special studies in jazz vocals, ear training, and theory. Her college career provided her with intense studies in the vocal styles of Musical Theatre, Classical, and Jazz. She performed in many musicals, plays, and recitals at TU, and during each summer, she worked as a cast member of Light Opera Oklahoma. She was a featured vocalist with the TU Jazz Combo and Big Band, and she performed at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. I am so excited to meet you! I have been performing ever since I can remember, doing talent shows, plays, musical theatre, and even television and film. Music has always been that quiet hum underneath all the noise that life brings. I began coaching vocalists and actors when I was attending Brigham Young University, studying Communications and Music. I found a new love of producing as I have directed and produced multiple musical showcases here in the USA, as well as in some parts of Europe. I am Executive Director of Southland Opera, a growing and flourishing arts organization that specializes in education outreach and commissioning new works. Born in the United States, she found her calling in music at an early age. After 10 years of teaching and performing in New York City, I moved to Los Angeles to be near family.
