I am a multi-media producer, recently relocated to Cazadero from the East coast. I have over 30 years of experience in multi-media, video/audio production and engineering/sound design, etc. I have some examples of my audio work at www.reverbnation.com/iso999 and www.reverbnation.com/solmusic. I had a recording studio based in the Boston area for over 20 years and have engineered and produced several notable projects for artists in that region.
I've played Guitar and Bass Guitar since I was 7 years old. I started playing synthesizers and learning how to produce audio recordings at age 19 and have been active since. I played Tenor and Alto sax in stage and symphonic bands in Junior High and High School. This experience gave me a strong foundation in Jazz and Big Band standards and arrangements.
In 1981, I went to Berklee College of Music in Boston for Electronic Music and Guitar. I eventually taught Polyphonic Synthesis and Music Technology at Berklee from 2001 - 2003. I also taught Audio Production at Emerson College in Boston from 2001 - 2003.
SInce 1981, I've been studying Traditional Ghanain Drumming and Dancing and am a member of Agbekor Drum and Dance Society, a performing group run out of Tufts University in Medford, Ma. I traveled to Ghana and Togo in 1986 for 7 weeks to study with Master Drummers from the Ewe people of southern Ghana and Togo and the Dagomba people of the Tamale region in the north.
I have over 30 years experience recording in a variety of formats and over 15 years of experience with ProTools.
I've worked with many of the other well-known audio recording applications, including Garageband, Ableton Live, Reason, etc. I'm adept with many other music software applications, including software synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines.
I love to teach and have mentored many aspiring singer-songwriters of all ages in my recording studio in production techniques and composition.

I’ve played keyboards and sang professionally for the last 25 years. During that time my home has been in the San Francisco Bay Area but I have performed all over the country and have toured several times in Germany, Switzerland, and Japan. I’m a two time winner of the West Coast Songwriters “Song Of The Year Award” and I write music and lyrics as well as record and produce songs for myself and others.
Over those years I’ve developed a wealth of knowledge and experience that I’m very excited to share with my students. I want you to tell me what your musical dreams are and we will develop a plan to reach them and I will be honored to guide you there.

My passion for music has led me clear across the country, from Boston to the San Francisco Bay Area. I have played guitar for 17 years, in various bands of many different genres, and have attended music schools on both coasts to fortify my musical knowledge. I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and then graduated from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park. My specialties are in rock and metal guitar, and also in composition and music theory.

After graduating California Institute of the Arts with a multi-focus on several aspects of music including African dance, Indonesian gamelan, songwriting, recording, classical voice and piano, folk guitar, and more, Liz had the excellent opportunity to teach theater to a local musical theater summer youth program. All summer, she taught class sizes ranging from 10 to 26 students of the ages 5-10. Her initiative later led to being hired at this local community theater. Along with this theater teaching experience, she has been teaching piano, guitar, ukulele, flute & voice lessons for over 9 years. Her students have gone from knowing nothing about music to learning and performing entire pieces on their own as well as even auditioning & for agents and becoming signed artists in Los Angeles. Liz knows that it is her place in the world to teach music & spread positivity through her own music and would love nothing more than make learning music a positive and fun experience for everyone.

After over 20 years experience teaching music, I enjoy helping each student find their own personal musical expression. With my ability to listen carefully to every student's goals, I approaches teaching music in a knowledgeable, yet intuitive, way - honoring the individuality of each budding musician. Learning to play piano or sing should be an enjoyable experience, even when the lessons require a mix of hard work, practice, and perseverance in fulfilling those musical goals. With my many years of experience as a performer, songwriter, and teacher, I can bring first-hand insight to each lesson. After all, music is a wonderful journey; let the adventure begin!

My first musical memories are jamming with his father Robert (who plays guitar) in a make-shift garage music room in his hometown of San Diego. I soon discovered a love of and fascination with drumming that led me to pursue music as a lifelong passion.
In 2001 I received a B.A. in music from San Diego State University, where I studied classical theory, sang in choirs, took every jazz course available, and played in West African/South Indian drumming ensembles.
