*** Specialties ***
I like to find out what the goal is of the student and if it is not the student motivating the lessons then what is the goal of the parent. Then, I try to give glimpses of that goal right from the start. If they want to play a particular song. I may have them learn a few notes. If they have an agenda that is more advanced I make sure that I understand what they want, draft up a quick plan for lesson teach it and then let them know more specifically the nest stages we will cover and a timeline. I teach blues, rock , country , Jazz, not classical I am not trained in it. Almost anything else. I have done theater show rehearsals. Heavy Metal riffs. Rock Bands coaching. you name it.

About Me

I take pride helping students of all ages achieve their music goals, whether it be to shred solos in front of a packed house or play intimate songs for close friends.
When teaching young people (ages 7 to 18) I do everything I can to get them passionate about their instrument. There is no greater motivator than fascination. I get kids playing real songs within a few lessons. If a student can play along to their favorite Green Day song within a few weeks, they feel like they can do anything. I skip past the "Mary Had a Little Lamb" phase that puts off so many future rock stars and go straight to the real deal: strumming, solos, and songs.
When I teach adults, I identify your goals and create detailed lesson plans to achieve those goals step by step. I strive to be clear, patient, and humble.
